Hey Koichi... which one do you like better? American Culture or Japanese culture? I mean I know AMerican culture is boring but is Japanese the same? I am half American and half Iranian and I live in America but I like Iranian culture a lot more
I think America just lacks a specific "culture" just because they are so mixed and new. It'll be a while before Americans get their own bona fide culture (at least across entire america). There are some neat american cultures if you go to certain places in America.
ok so what's up. you use でございます and いらっしゃったら but then finish with じゃあね? the latter most one seems a bit rude if you're trying to respect the audience (and i don't really understand why you would want to do that... i'm not worthy...)
It's the whole concept of Koichi弁. Maybe refer to one of his earlier (or earliest, maybe) videos where he explains this? Also, it's a wonderful example of the ridiculously formal Japanese we're all taught in school, haha.
The commercials are the only good part about the Superbowl. With that though, you don't need to watch it to see the commercials. Internet is your friend!
There are dozens of games all year. Most people think it's enough to just watch the last one. Especially if there's a party with food involved. This game was a little more interesting than usual though, with the underdog beating the undefeated...
wow, that was cool, i actually understood most of what you said ^^...and.. i totally forgot about the commercials....i would have watched the superbowl just for that..X__X
frat and fraternity are two different things. People have the wrong image of what a fraternity is, unfortunately. We do a lot of positive things; it's nothing like the animal house image at all. :)
weelllll 'frat' is generally just an abreviation for 'fraternity' but I assume you're not really associated with Greek life, more like a service fraternity than a social fraternity?
it is an abreviation, but the term 'frat' is generally associated with the animal house mentality. My fraternity definitely is greek life, and is social, but it also has many philanthropic / scholarship features as well :) We are also a dry house, too, which defies the "frat" association
I took the day off from work today to stay home and watch the live feed on NHK Monday morning at 8am. My team is the San Diego Chargers, so I didn't really care who won, but the 4th quarter was exciting.
Loll.

最後のpepsiのCMで使われている音楽は、誰が歌っているなんていう名前の音楽でしょか?
Please tell me the name of the song used pepsi's commercial.

I know nothing about the Superbowl, and even less about football or the teams =p
