To beat Ruby Weapon: You need 2x Item, at least 3 dazers, 2 phoenix downs, Enemy Skill "????", and Mimic. Engage w/ 2 members already down. Lead guy should have 2x Item (for the glitch). Use a dazer then a phoenix down to bring a member back. 2nd guy should have ???? which does the difference of their current HP and max HP. Have lead guy use another dazer and phoenix down to bring 3rd guy back. 2nd guy uses ????, 3rd guy Mimics. 1st guy dazes, 2nd guy uses ????, 3rd guy Mimics. Rinse and repeat.

@deidaracloud Because they were guardians of the planet, they only awaken when the planet is on the brink of destruction, or when they sense extreme danger. Which is also why they fight Cloud and the crew, because they try to rid the planet of all dangers. You should follow the story from the game a little more :)
