@MiiWinner Works fine for me, and I have Win7 as well. Check if you're using the most recent version. 1.8 should work fine, and most likely also 1.7. 1.6 works on Vista, though I don't know anything about Win7 here. I didn't test 1.5 and older.

If it still doesn't work, try setting the Compatibility Mode to WinXP, and if a DLL's missing, download it from the internet and put it in the SMWar folder.

Can't wait to play it, but there seems to be a gluttony of variety at the moment though.

Some of the stages are hard to look at in that, at a glance there is some doubt as to what is terrain and what is background, clashing colors add to that. In a fast paced battle game it may be a little distracting. It's still a great effort though, I can't demand that fan work be professional quality all the time.

dude i played this game back in version 1.6 and was happy to hear that version 1.8 was out so i rushed to download it and it whouldent work!!! i was really mad because im not the type that gives up on a game, do i have to extract the files somwhere specific cuz when i start it it says file MSVCP&!.dll was not found and reloading it would fix the proplem so i did..... 20 TIMES HELP ME i just wanna play all the other mario fangames i load are a waste of time so i came back to this one ... It's for the Pc, but you can load it up to the Wii with, the omebrew channel,

but I don't recommend to use the homebrewchannel (which you can get in the internet,

and upload it to the Wii using a SD-Card), 'cause the Wii could crash,

if you had this "ilegal" software on it when it makes a systhemscan.

Yes, we are updating the game. Development is slow but progressing. That's what you get with homebrew, we fit it in to our schedules when we can. Beta 2 is nearly done and includes some good improvements including a new mode and a minigame or two.
