@RevengeOfIjapa I trust that if God loved the world so much that he sent Jesus not to condemn the world but to save it ( John 3v17) then God would achieve his desire. If God loves his creation, he will be a loving heavenly Father who welcomes the prodigals when they come before him in heaven. Jesus will be like in John 8v11, " Then neither do I condemn you" . People would immediately see the real goodness of God and love Him. I believe a good, loving God would not let humans end up in a hell.

@zytigon 1) Man sends himself to hell by rejecting God. Hell is not a physical place, but a state. Hell is when God is totally and utterly removed from an individual. For this reason, it is described in the worst possible terms imaginable by the people of the Middle East (remember, the bible is not a verbatim Quran). The Prodigal is one that is repentant and God gives man the chance to repent in this life. At Judgement, the Good will be their condemnation through their own acts of rejection.

@zytigon If there will be no difference between the one that accepts God and teh one that rejects God, then there would have been no point in Christ's coming. Christ is the salvation and the last ark before the flood; if one chooses to board teh ark good. If not and teh waters come, the one that shut the door cannot be blamed. God will not influence a person's freedom of will because it would not be love, but compulsion.

@northkent61 If by hymn you mean a song or religious song, then there are many. Half the Bible is about traumatic events. If by hymn you mean a song in praise of God, then this cannot be. And you have a problem with Christianity and hymns, yet you loved this song enough to search it, listen to it and comment on it.
