It happened on mine too. I fixed mine by connecting the middle spring to the hammer. It should be on top of the hummer and not under it.

Trigger sear is too light or bent out of place so when the slide goes forward it causes the frame to shake and basicallypulls the trigger instantly.

Answer: new trigger sear or new gun entirely.

I ha the same problem with the hammer on my meu 1911 but I think the problem is the part that holds the hammer back doesn't have enough power causing it to keep hitting the piece that makes it cycle causing full auto.

Don't worry, it's not hard at all, just make sure everything in the back of the pistolgrip is applying pressure to bits, the metal prong on the right must be ontop of the mechanism it lines with, the one in the middle i believe sits onto also and the one to the left is just the spring that keeps the palm safety sprung out. I didn't have a clue what i was doing but just have patience to wigle things about for 4 hours and learn how it works and it'll be fine.

Looks like your half cock sear is not engaging. On a 1911 you should be able to half cock your hammer and should hear a click to prevent hammer dropping without trigger being pulled. Maybe there is a defect on the hammer that is not catching the trigger link. If you can take the hammer out what you could do is to put a small notch on the hammer half way between the resting position and full cock.

That full auto thing happens on real 1911 as well if it is really worn.

It's the trigger sear. It may have been removed, damaged, etc, but that's what would cause this problem.

ya thats about it you take off the little pole at the end of the magwell and take off the hammer spring then you find the silver thing with the 3 prongs and take it out then put it back by puting the middle prong on the step up looking thing --I\ it goes like that and the prong on the right ontop of the siilver thing and the prong on the left just goes up there dont put it on or below anything it is the bevertail safety spring then put it back together and test it

Did u try to mod it to full auto? If yes disassemble it! in the back housing there´re metal sheets . the middle one u have to pull over the black metal part on the back slide. there are two metal parts the metal sheet can collide with. u have to pull it over both that they are pushed to front! Then you have a controllable full auto hand gun!

there is a picture in the end and the problem with yours is that the middle prong is not in the right place yours is probly on the silver bad going across it needs to beon the step up looking one right above it it is pretty hard to get on but when you do the problem should be fixed the same happened with my gun

If you still have this problem, it is because the spring in the handle with the three metal things isnt on top of the 3 things its supposed to be on. on the sear spring, on the very right the metal thing has to be ontop of the silver triangle looking thing, the middle thing is supposed to be on top of the silver thing AND (this was what i wasnt doing) on top of the little black hook looking thing. I just fixed this problem a second ago, and I also modified my hi capa to do full auto too

My gun had the exact same problem both the slide catching half point and the full auto it turns out the prongs arnt properly aligned first you have to unscrew the screw in the bottom front and taking out the slide catch then take out the slide and unscrew the grip but the grip wont come off until u look at the top of the trigger gaurd in the bottom of the lower reciver and take it off then the hammer assembly should be off
