  • Hi! awesome video, I have one small question, If you type in " giant veil flag " in the search box then click on the first video from "SacFireSpinDance " it shows a girl twirling this poi flag and I would like to know if you know what kind of material she is using? what it is called? And where you can get it from? This is the exact material I need to get and It would help soooo much if you answer back to this comments. THANKS!

  • Where did you get the weight that you use? I have looked everywhere for that weight. We had some flags made using your instructions but they are not heavy enough. Thanks!

  • .. Slinky weights

  • How many pennies I can't find the sol

  • where do i get the slinky wieghts, i have looked all over for them. or can u make another flag but using pennies as an alternative.

  • The material is called tissue lame. You can get it at Joan fabrics in store on online.

  • looks sorta like lamay. we use that stuff for color guard flags. hurts like balls when it's wet and it whips you right in the face.

  • Correct. Its just one piece of fabric.

  • wait so the flag itself is ust one peice of fabric with hemmed edges and the weight is held on by a lil peice of fabric ?

  • I luv this. I want to make some! That fabric is called Tissue Lame (pronounced LA-MAY). We use it all the time for our flags, banners and other things =] they have it in like every color. Very pretty...

  • Hello!!!

What is this for a material? Is this organza? I plan to make some in organza but I think I have to sew it doubble, becuase it's a bitt too see-through... What do you think?

  • humm....I don't really know what kind of material it is. I just went to the store and looked for something really shiny. But if your material is see through you could put two layers together but i would sew some lines up and down to keep the wind from catching too much.

  • would bandanas work?

  • Thanks!! I guess I dont need you to answer me anymore. Cause this does it!!! Thank you lots!!!

  • Excellent..easy to follow, going to make some for sure, I do spin poi but have yet to try flags...thanks heaps...happy spinning
