Anyone else tear up? I've watched this commercial since the day I saw it on t.v. over 10 years ago. Pride, Nostalgia... Goodness... And how great was it that they didn't change a thing about the commercial, but at the end "10 years later, we are still one."

I'm American! All these people have said they are unAmerican. And the guy at :37 seconds looks like he's on drugs and can't even get out the word American. They should have edited him out. And what's with the blonde girl just before him at :35 seconds? Her hesitation is ridiculous and she doesn't even say it.

I wonder how many of these people believe that the only proper purpose of government is the protection of individual rights? Oh, that's right, none of them. They all believe that the government should also produce propaganda commercials imploring us to "unite" (whatever that means).  These people may live in America, but they aren't Americans.

@GSanchez200 Actually, I think it's about time we did forget it. Or at least got over it. 9/11 united us under the purpose of destroying an enemy, when we should focus on reconciliation and uniting ALL people, not just Americans. This tribal mentality we have is backwards, and it is at odds with the interests of the human race as a whole. It needs to end if humanity is going to find lasting peace. I am a human first, and an American second, as we all should be.
