@draco092 how about you shut the fuck up =) And if you really want her to stop talking, just mute the volume. I mean seriously, is it really that hard?
@misterlonely1446 How about you taking a valium pal? I want the match sound..not a stupid commentator who doesn't know that talking in the middle of a tennis point isn't a very polite idea..
@mightyfedepxress well the first one he uses nalb's pace but it was still ridiculous. however for the second one I still have no idea how he did it, and i haven't seen anything like that before or since.
@BrotherTree1 that shot probably looked more amazing than the one he hit at USO 2009, but in terms of difficulty, the one he hit against djokovic was harder. balls bounce higher and slower on clay, so he had more time to get to the shot, whereas at the USO on hard court the ball was moving away fast.
i noticed it,too.tha'ts the only way to produce such a difficult shot, and certainly the correct one.i use this technique when i desperately have to get the ball and i'm in a bad position that doesn't allow me to put any spin on the ball or whatsoever.of course, often i don't obtain the same results as roger, neither do i make shots like the one in the video, but i'm working on it :)

The reason why these shots, though not easy to execute in the heat of battle, seem ridiculous, is that Federer used to play squash. He bviously hasn't lost the touch and it helps alot with the flicked wrist shots that he produces.
actually, if *you* watch enough professional tennis then Nalbandian's face is unforgettable. Actually, I take that back; you don't even need to see his face. His play style is one-of-a-kind on the ATP tour.
yeah the second one is spectacular, but the first one is insane. That was an actual backhand winner from Nalbandian, and Federer turns it into a winning point. Insane.
First one is a sick, sick shot.

are you guys fucking kidding?? the first one is pure brilliance...which guy on the tour comes up with such a sqash shot winner except fed
seidl01 1 year ago
The first shot is not a passing shot.
Those are hit past an opponent at the net.
That, of course, doesn't take away from the brilliance of them both.

that second shot was possibly the best ever hotdog. i think its better than the one he did at us open 09 against djoko.
BrotherTree1 2 years ago 14
@BrotherTree1 yeah, he's better than he is now...
daemonturk 1 year ago
@BrotherTree1 wait hot dog meaning tweener or just pass from an opponents lob? Cuz this one wasnt between his legs.

@BrotherTree1 it wasn't a hot dog. Federer hit it last minute near his left knee.
