what was the reason for certain vulcans (including XH558) not having white undersides? i assume the white undersides were to reflect nuclear flash so is XH558's colour scheme the one it would have carried in it's non nuclear reconnaissance role?
the white undersides scheme looks better in my opinion!
diego - both are privately owned. XH558 is the only vulcan flying anywhere in the world with XM655 only being allowed to do 'fast taxi' runs @ wellesbourne.
I liked the wing wave. Respect! Went to Wellesbourne today. Sadly just XM655 but still a good day. 2011

I class myslef Ver Very! Lucky to see this that day. It was a great day out, my grandad worked on the Vulcans for 9 years, and it made his day.
