  • My favourite Jam song next to the fantastic Down in the Tubestation.....

  • Das Beste was Mod je ergeben hat !

  • From The Jam have NOT put out a CD named 'Arse Crack' - that is so stupid!!

  • Must be so painfuI to be the dreadfuI Bruce Foxton, missing out on The Jam song writers royaIities despite just being the bass pIayer and now just making WeIIer even more money.....poor Iuv.

Give me Secret Affair any day.

  • Phew!!! These get togethers always stimulate debate. Loved Bon Scott with AC/DC. They're a different band with BJ. He's not my cup of tea. Lived for The Jam back then. Very wary of FTJ. But they are absolutely brilliant! If you haven't seen them you're missing out. Where do they go now... they've got little to prove... does it really matter anyway

  • FTJ - A great wedding band...LOL!!!

  • Should I be eating more pies?????? Will there be bouncers on the door with tape measures and weighing scales?????

  • No, you should stop eating pies you big fat cow, unless by pies you mean vaginas, then by all means...

  • She's English and very petite not a big fat American (now it makes sense why you commented you saw so many fat cows at a Ringo gig - if you'd have seen him here you wouldn't have) oh and over here bubba is 'baby' but I have a sneaky feeling you actually should have called yourself BLUBBA as you're fat obsessed.

  • AC/DC and Ringo lol, anymore bubba or is that your lot? Oh and a trim 32" waist for me ;-)

  • and mines 24" :)

Queen will be next Rogers V Mercury haha

  • Stop it Wattise, I'm all a quiver thinking of that waistline of yours!!!

  • :) :) Behave yourself Mr L - think of your blood pressure. If I attach myself to my twin sister, go to Evans and buy a shift dress hopefully I (we) might just aboout be big enough to get into a FTJ gig......

  • Are you all of a quiver thinking of my waistline too ;-)

  • Here is a good example of what I mean:

AC/DC sucks since they added Brian Johnson, nobody wants to hear his bullshit screaming.

What they want to hear is BON SCOTT on lead vocals!

  • AD/DC are shit FULL STOP - so bad example. You have't seen FTJ live or The Jam have you? I've seen both and believe me there is no different. Listen to Weller doing Jam tracks doesn't for a minute sound like The Jam - Rick & Bruce with Russell on lead DOES!! Pees me off when people make comments about something they've never seen live!

  • I dont know a single person who has actually been to a FTJ gig and not been absolutely astounded by how good they are. As I've said many times before...only those who DONT know or understand The Jam think that Rick and Bruce played little or no part in the Jam sound. 66% of the original band are back and with two very very capable partners producing a jaw dropping set EVERY time I've seen them! Go see them, it'll cost approx £20 and the best £20 you'll ever spend!

  • I went to see Ringo's All Star Band once...an audience full of hideous fat cows...is that what you want for The Jam?

    Well, IS it?

  • Have you ever been to an FTJ gig bubba5000? I think you might just be surprised.... absolutely no hideous fat cows anywhere to be seen.... 66% of The Jam present therefore excluding the band from the rank of "Cover Band"....four excellent musicians on stage having a great time, playing music that they (and we!!) love and doing it brilliantly!!!

  • Of course he's not been to a FTJ gig or he wouldn't be talking out of his backside. (He's probably never been to a Jam gig wither back in the day) Ringo's All Star Band - I nearly pee'd myself laughing at that one. There's hardly any difference between fans who you see at Weller and ones you see at FTJ - how can he even compare Jam fans to old Beatle fans, most of Ringo's fans are American (check on myspace for clues) - maybe that's what he means by fat cows. Deary me Ringo hahaha...

  • I've barely stopped laughing at this one. The diet and metabolic rate of your fan base as being a deciding factor of the quality of a band...lol brilliant stuff bubba. Go see them and then decide. So Weller's fans are all fitness fanatics and only fat people like to see Rick and Bruce...interesting concept....news to me though!! LOL.

  • Bubba5000, I think you will find that genius was present in 3 people in The Jam and is now present in 4 From The Jam! They are superb musicians and put on fantastic gigs.

  • A good cover band playing the music of a genius.

  • What are you talking about - COVER BAND???? That's Rick Buckler and Bruce Foxton who were in THE JAM..now they are FROM The Jam...

  • Imagine the Stones touring with someone besides Mick Jagger, now imagine your head isn't up your ass...welcome to reality...grab a drink.

  • I don't drink and there's no need to be rude. I wouldn't give a stuff if The Stones toured without Mick Jaggar I prefer Richards, Woody and Watts anyway. And as far as FTJ are concerned they have a decent front man in Russell Hastings and atleast he doesn't look like Bernie Eccleston

  • Sounds just fucking great!

  • having lived through the original its not quite the same without weller, dont you think. good singalong but just another tribute band though. be interesting to see what they can do when they write their own songs.

  • i just saw them at the UEA on 5th december 08 and they done a few of their new songs and they were pretty good.

  • Brill clip ,looking forward to see them live this year in Liverpool.Last gig was in Deeside back in 81 & 82 .Best gigs ever.Cheers Karl N.Wales....
