7:12 Could you not have played h5 here? The idea that the pawn is pinned so if he takes your knight with Rxc5, you can play Qxg6+. And after black takes your queen with his queen (Qxg6), you recapture with the rook - Rxg6+ - which forks the king and the knight winning a pawn overall.
I'm not terribly good at chess so maybe wrong here, could you point out any innaccuracies/pitfalls to this plan.
I like the GM vids and major analysis games, don't get me wrong. We do need those scattered about. These are really helpful though because you can see numerous plans developing as the position unfolds instead of just annotating moves that have been played years ago. It helps players to get ideas of what strategy is really all about them WHAM, a nasty tactic is played. KC is great no matter what he is doing though so anything he puts out, Im watching regardless, haha.
Yeah, maybe do some analysis on GM games like Sean or Majnu, I don't know. Good though they are, I think we're approaching the limit of the 5 min blitz entertainment value. I much prefer hearing you analyse your community games. Cheers.

i agree...keep knocking out these clips and ill think you'll reach become some sorta star, ive seen it before where youtubers make the headlines on Tv.
sadly not everyone allows you to play a winning romantic game but you still go for a midgame mating in each game when I get totally upset when someone starts closing and I follow up to a boring pawn endgame. yesteray closed all lines with 7 pawns at the board for each player and just kept the h file playable where I concentrated all my figures when the opponent was randomly moving around offering remis. 2 rooks, 1 bishops and a queen were way too much for him to deal with later :]
errm the one open line I accidently stuffed with my bishop trapping it the Ba7-Pb6-style desperatly trying to close everything when the opponent luckily assisted me

I can't get enough of your blitz vids. I think it's a fairly innovative idea as well - has this ever been done before on a relatively large scale?
