On a different note. I cut 1" off my stock. Lop was just too long for me I'm 5'9" with a descent reach. But its made a big improvement for me. Now the but pad is a little long I'll have to find a smaller size but it's ok for now. ( just an option)
Took your recommendation and got this sling for my Winchester 1300 and love it! Specter gear advised me that the 870 sling set up would work for the Winchester and it was a perfect fit...........Thanks the great product review.
Ive got a Mossberg 500 and I mounted my sling on the end of the shell tube as it was tapped. Is this way a correct mounting method? Badass shotgun man, love the bayonet.
@TheGarnest The sling is side mounted left or right . It did not interfere with the micro rig or operation of the shot gun. I ran this setup in a two day tactical shot gun class. It is a very good piece of gear ,I couldn't have run the class without it
What do you think of their 3 point slings for the mossberg 590a1? I was thinking of getting that one since I'm a fan of 3 points. Also, does that front end plate scratch the finish on the barrel or anything like that? My last question is about the emergency release buckle. Is it better to have it or not? I was just thinking with 3 point slings, if a perp came up to you with that release buckle, he could easily release it and take control of the weapon, don't you think?
@MrLookout73 I don't like 3 point slings on a pump, too much stuff in the way of me cycling the action. NO problem with the front sling mount hurting the finish so far that I've found don't think it's a problem of someone releasing it on you, but if you need to get out of the sling in a hurry like you need to transition the weapon to your weak side it's nice to have
@EN2HAMMSTER Do you think someone could get used to the 3 point sling on a pump with practice or is it pretty much too clumsy? I was looking at either their CQB 3 point sling with the release buckle or the tactical 3 point sling with the release buckle and the TRB that lets you transition to your weak side really fast.
@MrLookout73 I don't know the only way to know is to get a 3 point sling and train with it. That's the only way to know if any piece of gear actually works.
Hammster! I also got the sling for 590A1!
AWESOME!!!! I love it! Thank you Sir!

@moparmaniac21 Yes that is an acceptable method, just keep an eye on that screw sometimes they like to unscrew themselves with the heavy recoil
