But mainly it is because there are no crashes and no system requirements. Also you can sit in a relaxed postion or even lay down while playing on a console.

When playing comp, you can't be as relaxed.

you dont have to commit suicide. simply pause the game and exit. this will save the game including your new guns and save you money as you dont die. it also means you can just load it in and get the chest again

I am on my first ever playthrough of Borderlands and I am playing the GOTY edition with all DLC. This DEV chest seemed to have a better turn out when I was at a lower level. I'm at level 42 now and the chest seems to spawn level 28 and under weapons. Is this just bad luck and I should continue to farm it? Also, I have only played Ned's Zombieland & one round of Moxi-wars, but I heard that  General Knoxx's Secret has great items? Thanks!~

I am single player only & the reason that I am at a high level, is because I am the type of gamer that levels without trying to level. I tend to grind and farm alot. It's funny how the whole point of this game is the guns. i mean, it's like christmas morning when you find a good one.

@Khimeran77 Lol, if you want to grind and farm alot, get to playthrough 2/2.5 where the loot is WAY better. At playthrough 2.5, all chests always give lvl 48 items.

@Khimeran77 I think you should move on to playthrough 2, you're rather over leveled so the DLC's would be a bit too easy. The only incentive to stay on playthrough 1 is to get the SDU's, then get them again in playthrough 2.

I find eridian weps easiest to find in uthe first chest in the back door but if you want the best weps do every single mission in the secret armoury in the dlc add BeastOfxThaEast (me) if you want invincibility and my top notch weps

The chest is still there in the 2nd dlc, but it gives normal weapons. Also there is another secret chest in the eridian promentory, right before the vault. It's to the left i believe and there is an invisible wall, but you can duck under it or something.
