  • until the sun hits it

  • Looks like they are struggling with usage already...

  • battery drainer

  • 2:10

    Fail. Its Japanese.

  • @NinkaPanda He never said that what he was showing is Korean. He was just pointing out that korean and chinese dictionaries are supported, too.

  • uuughh... need some rework on design... kinda fat

  • God, that giant infinity is so ugly.

  • fail

  • NDS is dead...

  • bet it messes up fast cuz they press the pad really hard... the laptop i have can do all that but it aint got lcd screen..

  • you dont need to press really hard. (tried it at the store today) and the touchpad works quite well even with a light touch. The only real issue is that since it is glass, if your fingers are oily, it'll probably leave smudges and be less smooth

  • portable tablet, yay o_O

  • the guy in the video pressed the screen so hard and hold so long, like never played with a touchscreen before. So lol.

  • its jsut a giant DS with a keyboard

  • lol that true a giant ds :)

  • just another way of tablet , nothing new

  • they sould make the second screen bigger so there is no need for a keyboard a dual screen laptop, but this seems quiet pointless. but does look cool

  • i agree! would be awesome

  • its a neat idea, but it seems a little too laggy to me... reminds me of those credit card authorization machines at grocery stores.

  • ive never found an optical sensor that takes to writing very well

  • japs r superior race , we have to accept it , kudos to the japs

  • Japos no paráis de inventar cosas

  • wobababawawabibmaweebatutubiabawabi

  • microsoft FINALLY got multi touch!!! Took them long enough!! and it's STILL slower then macs!!!

the touch pad would be better if it was a bit faster, it seems sluggish, and you have to push kinda hard.

Why not just make the screen touch? then have a popup keyboard or something? makes more sense then that

  • Mac's don't have touch. Only the iPhone does.

They prolly will make the big screen touch eventually. But if they do now they prolly have to charge like $8,000. If you notice, the price is really high for a low spec computer.

  • well i know, but still Apple was the first to make a touch mp3 player. and they got in internet browsing. The touch pad on this is slow and it seems like you have to push hard. I'm glad they made it, because its a step forward, but i think that it could have been better.

  • Are you talking about the iPod Touch? First of all, if youre talking about the wheel touch pad, the only thing new about that was the circular motion method that people liked. Laptops had mouse pads for ages. The touch DISPLAY has been on many phones like the Palm and WinCE. The iPhone was the first phone to be MULTI-touch is all. Even thats not new. Look up optical sensor LCD. Its not pressure sensitive. Its light sensitive.

  • And, thats a cheap axe laptop called a netbook and thats why its so slow. They will make a $2,000 version soon I'm sure. But they prolly wanted to be conservative in this economy.

  • Oh, and Microsoft Windows still does not have multi-touch. Thats just some little screen Sharp made. Windows 7 will be multi-touch (technically 2-point touch). But Windows XP Tablet, Embedded, and XP with an add-on, and Vista are all one-point touch capable. You just have to have a touchscreen monitor. The only computer OS that is true multi-touch is Microsoft Surface. That can be used by several ppl at once with all fingers.

  • Windows 7 would probably be in another 5 years. They are slow in making OS's especially compared to Apple who seems to make a new one every few years. They have multiple OS's each with different, and new features that Microsoft doesn't have anything close to. Apples Macbook (aluminum) has multi touch trackpad, you can turn pics, zoom, scroll, and switch windows with different finger scrolls. Microsoft doesn't even have something close to that.

  • Thats because Windows computers are made to appeal to workers and power users more. Apples are made as a consumer electronic device primarily. So unless you have real world work experience, you might not find any use for Windows features. Thats why Windows dominates. Its the technology that it has to integrate the work environment and also industrial settings. Apple is good for pictures and videos and grandmas.

  • i believe windows are much more inferior to apple's OS look for example how many bags there were in Windows Vista . Windows are no better for the workforce either they just dominate because of tradition and because most computers traditionaly are sold with Windows (& Internet explorer) already installed, thats also exactly the way Microsoft makes most of it's money ..by selling Windows to the PC manufacturers acting like a cartel .. while many other OSes exist Windows is a enforced defacto

  • Well, it doesnt matter if Windows is better or worse than OSX anyway. The reason why its so widespread is not because of your desktop/laptop OS tradition. Google these: Microsoft Dynamics, Windows CE, XP Embedded, SharePoint, Windows Server. Those are just some of the big classes by MS. Most of the Mac was prolly made by MS users and controllers of machines. MS is everywhere and it all works together. Apple was always closed to themselves and thats why they almost died even.

  • ok there you apple tard.

  • Comment removed

  • I never said Apple makes toughbooks, yeah, panasonic makes tough firkin computers, and thats good, but Apple computer are used for design and speed. I don't use the design capabilities of it because i don't need to, but it's a lot faster then my old dell, and it boots wayyyy faster

  • Well, if you just want a fast computer, you can get a 64-bit Vista computer with lots of RAM. Vista can go into S3 sleep state with the proper hardware (should be standard nowadays) known as suspend-to-RAM. It saves all your settings to RAM and thats the only thing that is poweredlike 2 watts only. And it will restart at exactly where you left off in like 5 seconds. This Sharp computer here is slow.

  • Windows does make fast computers for cheep, but they would be much faster if they would FIX vista. Vista is a slow OS. It takes a long time to boot and shut down. My apple starts up in less then a minute, and shuts down in less them 20 seconds. Also, macs don't get viruses, i dread the day when they do.

  • They dont have to fix Vista. U buy a comp to match. PPL bought those cheap comps and expect it to run, but got surprised. LOL noobs! Im tellin u, mines faster than urs and it costs less, u dont even have to shut down except for periodic updates (or if it crashes :P) but whats the point of shutting down unless u go on vacation and dont want to waste 2 watts of electricity. If you dont virus protect you Mac, dudewhen u DO get one you are completely screwed. They exist!

  • i know they exist, but i don't even know of a virus program that works with mac

  • thats sick

  • I agree

  • it's a bit crappy.. i mean, why not let the screen of the notebook be the touch screen? instead of the pad. got my point anyone?

  • probably they do only small screen/touchpad because the tech would be too expensive or technically difficult for full screen resolution.

for me, the bigger obstacle is the need to switch eyes from the pad to the screen. i bet it would give you headache in no time...really an ergonomic blunder imho...

  • you have a point.

  • Like tablet PCs...

  • Sounds very interesting

  • when will it appear then in Europe????
