@callevahacm. Very possibly. However, since in Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy 42 is the answer to the unknown question of life, the universe and everything, the lyrics suggest an influence through that as well, as does Coldplay's earlier song Don't Panic, which was the slogan of the Guide itself. Of course the two are linked since the author Douglas Adams used to write for Doctor Who.
