  • Good job guys. Nice and tight on the drum / keyboard section.

  • very good

  • cueeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeckkkkkkkkkk¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡

  • You guys got this down pretty well. Hard piece to play too. Only thing missing are the phat Moog patches.

  • saw them back in 71 preceeded by 3 bands ----of which two were mayall and poco-----i think it was $6

  • @ps525984 today you dont get such for 6 grand...

  • Powell is not Palmer, i saw him (Palmer) 2years ago in my town in Italy and he is yet an octopus on drums... long life E,L&P

  • emerson lake and palmer=awesome......emerson lake and powell=anal blowby

  • Dude, they only made ONE album with Powell and it was pretty darn good!

  • when was this?

  • those are some big shoes to fill there captain hook. besides your version of lake is lookin a little emaciated..

  • lame

  • awesome!!! Mussorgsky would be happy hearing so.

  • Excellent cover of difficult material.

  • It may not be a Hammond but, still a good take on their music. rock on!

  • In an interviw, on BBC, Emerson tolk bout hi's Hommond MODIFFIED!!! Yes, it's an Hammond with pieces "stoled" form Moog!

  • he needs a hammond but thats the correct sound and hammond immitators just dont cut it

  • I agree paul, even a Hammond 'Porta B' w/leslie would do, I found one of them used for 400 bucks, leslie included! Yeah, there's nothing like the real deal..

I like these guys though, kudos to anyone who can pull off this stuff!

  • No Emerson used like a Hammond L100 at the time = no leslie cabinet

  • He did use a Leslie with his L-100. In his early ELP he had two Leslie 122's and a custom Leslie (as quoted in his memoirs). The 122 used as the dartboard for the knives was amplifying the L-100.

  • ah, well there you go. THATS A HAMMOND, GUYZ

  • My son and I both love this video, thank you for posting!

  • yea he needs a hammond BAD!

  • Why?

    Do you work for Hammond?

You are entitled to an opinion, but like they say, Opinions are like A&&holes, everyone has one".

  • And if they're an ELP tribute band the keyboardist should invest in at least one Moog synthesizer, get some analog action happenin'..Ebay!

  • yea def props to these guys for pulling this all off for sure!

  • one of my all time faves, thanks for posting!

  • you need a hammond, dude... what's that sound?!

  • That sound is what the artist wanted, not what you think it should be. Post your interpretation on a Hammond, and let us judge it!

  • a Hammond in my interpretation (aside from the B4 tonewheel by Native Instruments is Motu's Electric Keys.

  • great job!

  • would be better without the twinky "light show".

  • omg this is stupid, it is not even music

  • OMG this is stupid, it is not even a comment

  • your retarded, it is music.

  • "a noise next to another noise is music" F. Gulda

  • It is a shame that music history has fallen into the trash can. If you had any idea what was behind this interpretation you would revel in it's feeling!

  • Thhe original was very much music, this is a very interesting interpretation of Musgorsky's music.

Then again music is an individual opinion.

  • AMAZING!

  • i hope you guys got a standing ovation after this. you deserve it well done.

  • hats off chaps! if you'd moved around a bit and i'd had a glass or three of vino i'd have been convinced i was at an elp gig ;)

  • Now this is different. These guys have guts to be different. Nobody will respect them though unless they learn to play "emo".

  • OMG that's exactly the kind of shit I wanted to get my band buddies to do in high school, but no one else was down with "shit from the seventies". Let alone dressing up. And this was amazingly right-on! except the bassist missing his cue a few times, probably wondering why he's onstage dressed like a dimestore pirate...

  • Yes, "shit" from the 1870s in fact, by a composer named modest mussorgsky

  • Sponge Bob and Squidward on keyboards!!!!!?????????

  • Aarrgh Matey, Mighty Fine clip!!

  • Hey, good stuff! Well done guys I enjoyed that!

  • mikor lesz köv. koncert?

  • Pirates at an Exhibition? Well done!

  • great job!

  • Nice spirited performance!
