you've got the tone down, cept the reverb messes it up from time to time. also the descending lines sound a little throwaway. but basically good stuff!
Eric definitely had it between 1964 and 1968, but after that, he became a pale shadow of his former self. Except on the Beano album (and on recordings done at that time), he was in no way comaprable to Peter.
at first i was a little bit disappointed by the fact thats not a real bootleg. (but i was prepared, if something like that would exist i'd probably have heard of it before.) but yeah, after this little step back i gotta admit you got a nice tone. you put the strengths of peter green and clapton together. i always love this kinda bluesbreakish sound.
I sure like this experiment but the title is misleading

What pickups are you using??
GrabbingHandz 2 months ago
@GrabbingHandz 1961 original pickups.
hopestarbright 2 months ago
@hopestarbright Have you flipped the magnets to 'Out of Phase'. They sound pretty pretty good...........very Peter Green :O)
GrabbingHandz 2 months ago
@GrabbingHandz Not exactly! The pickups were factory flipped. I took them from a very early Gibson Barney Kessel custom model.
The funny thing I didn't know is that they were all factory equipped with out of phase pafs.
