  • @Darthvader710 can you point me to a source or link for this? He really does seem guilty.

  • Would anyone accept killing his parents when you didnt ?.. Not me !! Never ... What a cricket mind if you do.... He did it ... I hate police but that fucking bastard did it... Marty hell is waiting for you !!! In there no matter how good of a liar you are .....

  • SO HAPPY FOR MARTY! The cops should be jailed for their offensive acts and injustice!

  • The cop who ramroaded this conviction is still claiming he was right. . .. .The American judicial system is a joke. . . .

  • So in the end who killed his parents? Aliens? To me, he is guilty as charged. Reasons -> He was an adopted child (no real parental affection), his parents were wealthy and old, his body language on tape (very unusual), his confession as soon as the detective tricked him that his father was alive. After he was convicted, it seems they created a grand diversion in the case by accusing a bunch of people with criminal backgrounds

  • @daarkmatter

are u a fucking idiot? he was adopted since a baby doesn't mean he didn't love his parents. he would'nt have gained anything from killing them since he would've gotten all their money when he was 25, just 6 years later. Why would he call the ambulance on his still alive father? if he did murder them, he'd have to finish the job so there wud be no knew evidence. His business partner owed his dad millions of dollars and hired "Johnny Gunz" to kill him.

  • (of-course with no solid evidence to link any of them to the murders) but cleverly opening up the possibility of other motives. James Gandolfini supporting him out of the blue? What is the connection? Looks like a classic Italian job well done, to rescue one of their own.

  • I hope he is able to sue the crap out of tha PD and those detectives. What a travesty!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • maybe the detctievs shouled go to prision when they make a mistake like this they screwewd up plane and simple they shouled have majer concqenious i think there are great copsbut they need to be kept in check and i dont care about the system losing face i have no intention of going down for a crime i did not commited than all there is to it

  • @gnil2000 those detectives didn't just make an accidental mistake - it seemed very wilfull and myopic to me

  • @gnil2000 Amen to that. The judicial system is a joke. I thought it was there to protect the Victims not the Criminals. They earn a freaking 10 page rap sheet before they do what they should have done all along and locked there ass up from the Get Go. How many chances do these freaking Criminals need. It makes me ill

the widespread corruption and cover ups. I am so jaded when it comes to the Courts now a day. They will

never be able to give him his 17 years back. No sorry no nothing.

  • @gnil2000 will ever make up for the Wrongs that were done to him They denied him the Lie dector test.

There was real no good reason given either. It because they knew the evidence was weak from the get

go. I would have left if your not going to be charged with anything. You can leave. The fact he stayed shows

he has nothing to hide. He was cooperative somewhat this is the thanks he gets. These Detectives are

not going to have anything done to them.

  • Fucked up police coercing a teenager. Yes a 17 year old can be mature, but he's STILL just a 17 year old. Fucking cops, fucking jury, fucking prosecutor. Mother fucking asshole. Duh! I knew that his father's business partner was a likely person of interest.

  • Hey Marty--you're still pretty cute!

  • @gatotzkyporlebriezky ...Marty is an ugly cocksucker sir....

  • I recall this like it was yesterday, grew up in the same village as Marty, my question is this. Why would you admit to killing soneone when you didnt do it? and how did you sleep at the time mom and dad were killed at two diff. locations of your house?

  • @budskid I understand where you're coming from. I think they just took advantage of a 17 year old, who is still young and naive at that age. Fucking cops.

  • We most certainly need more people like you Marty on this earth and no people like the police and prosecutors that did this to you. You are an awsome person and I hope that you get justice for your parents and for the 20 years you did in prison while the real killer remained free.

  • I love you Marty, and the lead detective is such an asshole, he should be put in prison for 17 years and see how it feels.

  • @GossipGirl253xoxo Fuck those asshole police. They fucked over a truly great man.

  • God bless you, Marty, please let the public know how we can support your work in helping the wrongly convicted. I will pray for God's blessings upon you. You are a beautiful example of turning the bad ugly things that have happened to you into beauty and a blessing for others. The fact that you are not bitter says a lot about your character and the inner strength of goodness within you but going a step further and seeing the good that has come from this is just pure excellence. You are my hero.

  • martiebaby...Comment well written. We need more people like Marty and more posters like you. Your comment says it all.

  • God bless Marty.

  • I love this guy.

    Marty Rules !!!

  • Lordy I could accept this happening in Memphis like it did to wm3, but one would imagine new york would be less narrow minded and backward but its the same thing, someone convicted by a confession...... are the police over there turning into kgb or wtf??

  • ......now an innocent man is free and the original murderers have yet to be even questioned.

The detective that set Marty up, at the time was named " Detective McCready...from Suffolk county in 1988." After the verdict he moved to Carolina with Marty;s step-sister and opened a bar.(that went bankrupt). McCready plays a large role in convicting Marty wrongfully; but has yet to be questioned about his obvious role in the murder of his parents on an early sept. morning 20 years ago.

  • I just finishing studying this case for work and cannot believe how much corruption plagued the overall investigation. The jury was obviously influenced by the media and the drama based around everything at the time of the murder...........yet Stuerman(the actual suspect) was never even interviewed/cross-examined due too suffolk;s Dectective McCready, who lied on oath; denyng his relationsip with the suspect and persoanlly setting up the 17 year-old Marty with his full like ahead of him.

  • judges and jury's NEED to be accountable for there injustices... GOD BLESS JUSTICE MUST BE SERVED TO THOSE WHO DESERVE IT... I realize that mistakes happen but in the criminal justice sysetm people lives are TRULY DESTROYED AND RAPED by society and they deserve SOME sort of retribution from the society that raped them of their dignaty and their future!

  • Jury's are a joke! This is disgraceful! People need to take the courts seriously. I recently did jury duty and the people, mostly males, didn't even listen to the case before they decided that the girl was innocent.
