  • To render a verdict on the basis of 1% of the evidence is a form of negligence and stupidty.

What about the other 99% of the evidence?

This is the equivilant of examining an antique auto to determine the year it was made, by examing only the corner tail light and no other part of the vehicle?!

Is this the case of the Prosecution?

Do they have your confidence and trust?

I feel like I am taking crazy pills when listening to each detail of the case against the shroud.

    Great Video!

  • I am boldly claiming I can authenticate the shroud of Turin.

A member of my research team has used myrrh to make a photograph. The image on the shroud is myrrh converted to melanoidin by the process of "The Maillard Reaction" There is no other explanation.

The unknown aspect is what form of radatiation/light leaves behind 3-D information.

We have not yet examined our "myrrh photo" for 3 D information. We hope it is there as well.

See my videos for more info. GoodShepard007

  • The Shroud is Genuine. Scripture agrees with science 100%. FACT: The image on the cloth is melanoidin.

FACT: Sugars and amino acids must combine to make melanoidin

FACT: Myrrh Contains sugars and amino acids.

FACT: Myrrh is light reflective and will form the image it reflects in reverse color.

FACT: Melanoidin contains carb formula C6 H10 O5

FACT: Myrrh contains the carb formula C6 H10 O5

FACT: Nicodemus "painted" 100 lbs of myrrh and aloes on SHROUD OF TURIN

    & JESUS

  • The peer-reviewed paper by Raymond N. Rogers titled "Studies on the Radiocarbon Sample from the Shroud of Turin" is in Thermochimica Acta, Volume 425, Issues 1–2, 20 January 2005, Pages 189-194 (may be purchased online at sciencedirect dot kahm). Matthew 27:59, Mark 15:46, Luke 23:53 each say "a linen cloth" (singular). John 19:40 says "linen wrappings" (plural). and 20:5-7 refer to "the linen wrappings" (the Shroud & side-strip) and also to "the face-cloth" (plausibly the Sudarium of Oviedo).

  • Its pretty simple..if someone doesnt want to believe in Jesus they will come up with excuse after excuse. Either you have faith or you dont. I lok at how the church has survived for 2,000 yrs, the fact that Jesus is a historical figure and the shroud..it fits PERFECTLY with the gospel accounts and proves something happened in the tomb.

  • All the research being done on the shroud is important but I think were missing the point. I thank the more important question is where is the body that was dead. No one seems to want to ask or answer that question. To me it's like sending a letter to somebody and instead of reading the message the person is admiring the envelope. I propose next time they do a documentry they should ask that question or look into it, it might help some unbelievers. I'll give you a hint where is the bodies. look

  • @esdmag1 -I think you should look into the 'scientific' findings on the Shroud a little bit more in depth, instead of making rediculous claims/hints! ...eg; Science has found that the blood on the Shroud has not been disturbed whatsoever!- Meaning; no signs that the shroud was 'pulled' off the body....Pulling or taking the shroud off of the body would undoubtably have pulled at the blood or torn dry blood off the shroud...THIS IS NOT THE CASE...understand?

  • Yes who else could it be?

  • The Shroud is real, there is no doubt. Praise the Lord!

  • @mail2lane

It is real - no doubt, but is it what it's claimed to be?

  • 99.9999999% of the scientists can believe whatever they want, all it takes is ONE scientist to claim that it is real, and that's good enough for Christians.

  • @mattdd05 -The problem with your analogy is that most all scientists, 'that have actually studied the Shroud', will not say one way or the other if it's real. But they do know as a FACT that it is not rendering of an artist! It was not painted in anyway we know of! It has 3D encoding built into the image! They have studied this Shroud more then anyother artifact in history and still cannot figure out how it was produced. Not one scientist who has studied the Shroud first hand, says it's a fake.

  • I wonder what Muslims are saying about this, this can't make them feel comfortable!

  • @AppalachianKnight77

I watched the entire video and didn't see anything but speculations. Show me the proof please. Some of the Islamic top scholars (we believe they are the best amongst us) are ready to accept Christianity if you prove them Christianity is the way that God Almighty wants us to follow. All I can appreciate is dedication and enthusiasm of Christian scholars trying to justify that the Bible is not corrupted. So far - just a lot of dust.

  • @SuperDedara Do you want me to send you some videos that could change your mind? I'm not one to spam people without asking first.. :)

  • @gamgagirl

Sure, I would like to see the most persuasive video in your opinion amongst the videos you have (just one please). Thanks.

  • @SuperDedara - Videos will do you no good. You don't believe what you see here, so why would you believe anyother video? Best thing I could suggest to you, if you want the TRUE FACTS; Visit the site shroud.com and read the scientific papers only! These are 'peer-reviewed' papers, meaning they have been checked twice over by independant scientists. Read the facts then come back here and discuss what you found and think, ...we'll discuss. I guarantee you'll see the Shroud in a new light.

  • @Flagrum3 I agree with you and i think these non-believers are annoying...

  • @migs52213 -Thanks, I just wish these non-believers (skeptics) would do some serious study on all the attributes of the Shroud, and not just get all their info from YouTube, Wikipedia etc; I'd bet if they did, there would be alot more converts to the Shroud's 'probable' authenticity.

Two vey good dites for study are shroud com and shroudstory com

    One can only hope ;-)

  • @AppalachianKnight77

The possible retesting of the puzzling linen sounds like a buying some time until the better idea pops up.

  • Jesus why did you have to leave your burial cloth behind and confuse us all?

  • There is a reason "science" & "scientists" want to dismiss the shroud as a fraud. Don't forget, with their "research" come awards, money, fame etc., and other distracting influences. To say that there isn't a personal and/or group agenda behind their results is naive. Today we see the result of this. Atheism is the "science" taught in schools & universities. The blood, (that hasn't coagulated).... how the image got on the cloth (????) reveal it's authenticity.

  • Barry Shwortz WAS a Jew. He is now convinced that the Shroud is the burial cloth of Jesus.

  • @bheadh It is entirely possible to be a Jew and believe that the Shroud is the burial cloth of Jesus; in fact, Schwartz himself still identifies himself as Jewish on his website.

  • @TrentSteeele Mazel tov!

  • @TrentSteeele does he mean that he's a Jew ethnically? I'm still a Jew even though I'm Christian, for example.

  • 43 and a half minutes of intense suspense ends with "So now we're going to test it again and find out the answer at a later date."

To say I'm pissed off is the understatement of the year. RRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Thanks for the vid nasirjohn! Too the previous commentors; If any of you rejects ever took the time to do some reading and research into the subject of the Shroud and to historians true thoughts to the existance of the historical Jesus, maybe you may realize how ignorant your comments are.I realize the thought of actually educating yourselfs may be a daunting task, but it may be worth it.

  • @Flagrum3 Speaking of research - as you accuse others of being ignorant and uneducated - research the English language.

ie. "Too [sic] the previous commentors [sic]" = TO the previous COMMENTERS (TOO = also; TO = as in "TO the previous..."; TWO = one, two, three...)

"historians [sic] true thoughts" = historian's (singular); historians' (plural) [apostrophize for possessive]

    "existance" [sic] = existence

    "yourselfs" [sic] = yourselves

It may be a daunting task, but it may well be worth it.

  • @Flagrum3 cont'd...Also,

"I realize the thought of actually educating yourselfs may be a daunting task."

The way you've structured your sentence makes it sound like you're saying the THOUGHT is a daunting task, rather than the education, which is I'm sure what you were attempting to say. A better form would be:

"I realize the task of educating yourselves may seem daunting, but it may well be worth the effort."

I'm very surprised you felt it was proper form to use "yourselfs." Try SpellCheck.

  • @Dr1Canuckchuck -Thanks for the spelling lesson, but to me it means little. My point still stands. People should really 'study' ALL the facts about the Shroud, positive or negative, but read! There are many, many books written on the subject but the 'scientific documents' are a better choice for reading, as they are testable facts.

  • @Flagrum3 True, but as I stated in my post, it was unclear exactly what your point was/is. If we don't start nursing our language back to health it won't be long before these comment features are obsolete, because nobody will be able to understand each other anymore. I'm just tired of trying to figure out what the point of a comment was, because I think there are very valuable points of view to be found here.

  • @Flagrum3 Besides, you made such an emphasis on others being ignorant and uneducated and used terrible English skills to convey your point. I thought that was ironic.

  • @Dr1Canuckchuck -Why are you still pressing the issue? As I said it means little to me.I think your trying to shirk the real issue here. Which I will repeat again; People should study the shroud more carefully and fully before making ignorant statements. Yes ignorant, as in talking about something with little knowledge...That was my point! So please get on with it.

  • Do u believe in ghosts?

  • The Shroud of Turin has a bird in the chest, the Phoenix. Which links the shroud to the story of Jesus in the bible and proves it to be a work of art, not a true shroud.

  • Well, religion and metaphysical faith ARE jokes, but just because their rug turned out to be a fake doesn't mean they can't keep having their other delusions.
