I think some traditional-minded people are really overreacting to Andrej Pejic. The whole point of this is NOT that androgynous people are REPLACING traditionally acceptable models (handsome masculine men, skinny and tall women), but that they are becoming an addition to the types of accepted models. Hopefully someday, we would be seeing people from all ends of spectrums- be it race, gender, size, sexual orientation etc. :)

Because Andrej Pejic just happened. It's a new topic. The product that is being presented is the person and not his sex or gender which is why I treat it as another news item. It hasn't yet occurred in European popculture and it's becoming more known and accepted.
