This is from Oxford Apollo in November '85. Although the song is a Schenker (or Marsden?!) song, Atomik and co made a really good fist of the thing. Love the heavy jam halfway through, which is similar to Purple's Black Night improvs. Mogg sounds just great, as usual. Cheers. :)

@frehleysboots there's an interview with Schenker somewhere on one of my DVDs where he confirms what you said by saying that he (Schenker) has to routinely return to the band and sort them out to mantain the "integrity" of the UFO brand - if you can believe that. Its a strange business, but I don't think I'd be super-enthusiastic about having such a repetitive job of work.

Tommy is by no means a bad player, he's nowhere near as bad as Paul Chapman was, that bloke just played drivel when he played live. Tommy, at least had structure to his solo's. Having said that, yeah you're right! It has to be Schenker. Can't stand Vinnie Moore being in the band either, Vinnie is a great player in his own right, but IMO he doesn't suit UFO.
