Yeah, they do the same thing to the Loyalists in Northern Ireland. I've met some elderly from Carrickfergus before, and they told me that they weren't taught anything about Irish history growing up.  The British system seems to brainwash people just so they can retain their power and control.

Loyalist culture is reliant on the existance of the royal family, the whole thing is just crap, youve got prince William flying a chinook helicopter to his cousins stag weekend, at 15 grand an hour to the tax payer (that includes loyalist people of Ulster). Loyalists think the royals love them but the truth is they care nothing of them, they are a people in limbo. And the monarchy is a corrupt leach.
