I have a question? What is the whole thing about multiple heavens and you have to be bad to go to hell? I have always been taught that if you have not asked Jesus Christ into your heart, you go to hell. Good, bad, or otherwise. And what's the whole familys are forever. I thought that in Heaven you will not know your husband/wife, family, etc. I have been doing some research but it's very hard to understand from my viewpoint. Help.

I was the only LDS guy at my High School for awhile (we had 5 youth converts so far this year) and It's nice to know that there are millions activly defending the Church. Sometimes I wonder why people acttack the LDS so viciously. If main-stream Christians beleive that all you need to do is believe in Christ to be saved (john3:16)then they really shouldn't care about Mormons because we believe christ is our saviour. Worry about the Muslims or something.

Im non-denominational christian. I've heard the same as you, that mormons are not really questions etc...

Where does this label come from? If Mormons claim to believe in jesus christ as lord and savior and the only way to get into heaven, then why do the other denomations attack you?

It's quite simple. Some people disagree with our views, claiming we don't follow Christ's doctrine. They actually contradict their views. Either Mormons are Christians, as well as many other religions, or only ONE religion is Christian. I'm going to go with the first one. Interesting how the Bible speaks of Christ's church going under persecution in the latter days, and our church is the most persecucuted of them all. Hmmmmm...

The simple answer is(because apparently my other answer was far too long) that people fear the unusual. The prophets have always called us a Peculiar people, we don't quite fit into normal society. They fear what is different and attack it...its more complicated than that really but i don't have the room here to explain it.

as far as being labeld non chritians... We do not believe the Nicene Creed and it created bad blood between many denom's towards us. Recently, this hate has been passed down through tall tales of "Non Christians, Cultist, etc etc..."
