I know the brothers , their friends of mine. real good guys. the land is beautiful it actually has I think about 2000 ft of frontage on the Delaware. I also own a farm in town there. nice town with a lot of nice people.

My friend Jim & I used to love drive by Cy's house and know that he was there and farming that land. I was very sad to hear he had passed.

God Bless him. What a beautiful farm. The story I had written is based on my great aunt who lived between Martins Creek and Bangor on a an 85 acre farm. In 1978 when she passed away my great uncle set out to sell the property, and eventually it was broken up and the house is once again on the market. I was sad to see the barn and out buildings torn down. What a shock.

Cy had his accident a week before we were to potentially meet him. The more I learn about Cy the more fascinated I become. He was a very interesting man with a very interesting story. Two brothers in town (Layton) who helped Cy Farm his land over the years now have his place. It's nice to know his land will continue to be farmed and cared for. Thanks for commenting!

I liked it when me and my grandfather would stop by and visit we used to grow corn at the van campen farm and ocasonally see cy once and a while. I think he operated his farm as a dude ranch in the 1940's very interesting man . Who has his place now??
