All of the live clips of this song he sounds just terrible! But what I considered is that sometimes with IEM (in ear moniters) if they are too loud they can change the tone in you ear and hence he is singing consistantly flat. Like when you yawn and the tone of a song changes. Only an idea because hes consistanlty flat not just off now and then.

somehow his voice sounds a bit higher pitched in the actual recording...and better...then again isn't that the case with most recordings? anyways I definatly can agree that his voice has gotten BAD. Sounds ridiculously deeper then before. Still a good song though :/

you can really tell he's pretty beat up, from recording the album, to touring right away.. Scott Stapp is one of the best vocalists of all time, but he's not superman..they should let him rest, for at least a few months. Creed Forever!

I disagree. My definition of "a good day" being a day when he doesn't sound like he has got marbles stuck in his mouth, but sings properly. A lot of his performances are sub-par and full of mouth-shaping, but I've also heard some stunning performances from him with exceptional resonance and especially, great tone, from the perspective of another singer.

Actually a "good singer" has to be a singer who's good almost always...not once in a while...and let's be serious...this AREN'T difficult songs... I liked stapp as a singer, really. Creed has been my fav band... But he's really bad nowadays. His vocal extension has been reduced drastically...and this is the result...a little pathetic.... love creed anyway.

@q94sucks Erm... I beg to differ... He's not really that great live. But in the studio he's amazing. I'm not saying they mix his voice... I'm just saying that singing live is a lot harder.
