I think it's happen around the world. I'm from a Baptist church in Brazil and I feel the same things here. I read the book " They like Jesus, but not the church". I'm really thinking and praying a lot about that! Thanks Dan Kimball! God bless you!!

I'm sorry, I didn't mean to make you angry.

But my point is valid. Leviticus is a book of law that accepts polygamy, slavery and the stoning of psychics among other acts that we know to be wrong if we are able to discern the truth. Leviticus is a book of law and by the blood of our Lord and Savior we are no longer under law.

As for me I ask GOD for forgiveness everyday and pray to love like Jesus... wholly and without hesitation.

Um Jesus never said anything about homosexuality. The scripture you are referring to is in Leviticus and may have been written by Moses or just some priests. No one is sure.

It is also a book that mandates male circumcision. Tell me...do you hate the uncircumcised as well?

Jehovah Witness, Mormon, Methodist, Catholic, Church Of Christ, Methodist, Lutheran, Presbyterian, Amish, Jim Jones, 700 club, Church Of The Nazarene, Robert Tilton, Southern Baptist, American Baptist, Disciples of Christ, Jimmy Swaggert, and all the thousands of independent churches.

Jesus did give very persuasive teachings about choosing Him and to follow Him. So, yes He did try to convince people. Paul the apostle also "reasoned" with people and tried to convince them to follow Jesus. I would recommend reading the Scriptures and seeing how often it happened. This video is an attempt to be showing people the biblical Jesus, not just the one they may think he is.

The other day while at a restaurant waiting in line I heard some guy behind me loudly complaining about having to wait so the service staff must be "sorry." I turned to look at this guy and noticed he was wearing a Christian t-shirt. I thought to myself this type of person is what turns others away from Christ. I hear Dan speak at the Willow Creek SHIFT conference this spring...totally thought provoking. My Sr. High youth group is working through these issues right now, and it's powerful stuff. Don't get caught up in the 'literal Bible' stuff...his theology is sound, but how we present it to the world is what really needs to be questioned. Jesus met people where they were with compassion and a desire to understand, then he brought them toward the truth. The church can learn a lot from this.

Funny how informed all these people are! They know what the Bible says, but they don't go to church because some people say one thing and do another. That's still no excuse for not living the way God wants you to. We will all stand alone before the Creator and explain why WE didn't do what He said He requires us to.

I hope my church uses this video. The students in the beginning of this clip are exactly those in the local university where I live. These are the questions Christians need to be able to answer. The church needs to be ready to answer these questions.

I'm glad these issues are finally being talked about in the church. I run into people all the time that don't attend church regularly and their views are very similar to the people on this video. It's great to see a pastor take these issues on with such a Jesusness!!!
