  • This video was perfect for me! I got it... but I'm not sure which video segment is next?

  • Thank you so much

  • This video is super helpful. Thanks!

  • i cant get the a and i think this is a little to fast but it would be great if it was slower

  • I've been watching a lot of different videos trying to get that upside down A just right and I finally got it with this video. Thank you, thank you. Perfect video!

  • I'm smashing my head against the wall just trying to get the upside down A

  • THANK YOU

  • do you have to use the right hand? I am left handed...just wondering.

  • thank you so much for sharing!! :)

i got it, and its so much better than what i was already doing!!!

    thanks

  • I would like to thank you for posting this video. I Just watched about 5 other videos on how to properly cast on and I just didn't understand them. Yours however, was very simple and easy to see. Thank you very much.

  • village* D:

  • my friend has a bizarre competition in her school called 'interhouse knitting'.

    srs.

anyway i was curious about how to knit so i just youtube'd it but all the other cast on methods i've seen today seem to be painstakingly slow.

    this is much faster.

    ten points to expertbillage.

  • I have a feeling I will never be able to knit and I found a pattern I really wanna do :[

  • I watched a diffrent video that explained everything she didn't but it didn't explain what she did explain, does that make sense

  • yey.i got it

  • if someone is trying to learn, they don't want someone that explains it way too fast

  • I bought a book, and t had no basics! This video helped a lot (actually, all your videos) Thanks.

  • I got confused!!! I didn't understand the "go back to your thumb" part!!

  • This is the method I used when I learned to knit 30+ years ago, and I love it. I think it's MUCH easier than other methods.

  • thank you !!!! so easy to learn from this!

  • I have never seen it done this way before. I like the muscle memory trick with the fist.

  • ive been watchin a few videos tryin to do this n i js kept messin up.... this rlllllly helped[•: thank yuh!

  • For those complaining that the video is too fast...I believe that's where replaying the video comes in handy. Great vid!

  • Very cool. Thanks for these knitting instructions. Just awesome.

  • Most helpful video however, too fast and the position from which you recorded is a challenging angle for someone who has never used a computer or for someone who is a new beginner to knitting. Had to revert to the beginning numerous times to catch on.

  • I like your videos, however, the question that I need an answer for is after you have knitted say an earflap and your pattern tells you you are going to knit the next earflap on the same needle, and now you need to cast on a certain amount of stitches? I have no idea how to do this and I have looked everywhere for help...HELP< can you please show me how this is done casting on once you have already established stitches. I have found some other patterns that call for this, and no can do

  • thank a lot for these videos. they are very helpful and simple to follow. :-) keep up the good videos.

    p.s. smile a bitt more. :-)

  • I DID IT! YaY! One down!

  • THIS VIDEO DOESN"T HELP BEGINERS!!!! I couldn't follow you at all!

  • Seriously, I can't tell the third step of this. You say go back under the thumb, but the camera angle never once shows what that actually looks like. I am more frustrated than I was before--camera angle, speed, and views could all be improved. It's so frustrating to be ALMOST there but just can't quite see it--almost a great vid, but failed for me. Please redo?

  • umm. okay i have a question.... which end is suppose to be on which finger. For example the the end of the slip knot where its connected to the ball of yarns is suppose to be on which finger?

  • this show should have been slower!

  • Thank you so much for posting this!

  • there are tons of ways to cast on you know.

  • thank you for posting this vid!!i have been wanting to start knitting but I was nervous it would be to difficult, but after watching I realized it wasnt to as hard as I had assumed it would be!

  • you make it look so easy to understand! thank you so much!

  • @weawesomecj actually i could. gogogo troll some more

  • I'm trying to start knitting clothes for myself but I'm on a tight budget, I picked up some good ideas at ebeginnersknitting (.) com

  • this is genius. I was concerned that watching it mirrored would make it impossible, but after watching one video I couldn't quick get, I figured it out with this right away!

    Thank you!!!!

  • after trying the other videos, finally I found this one wich is less complicated than the others. thank you,

  • wait. wtf? how did you get the slipnot at the start?

  • No, honestly, this video would be a lot better if YOU TOOK THE WORDS OFF THE SCREEN i can't se what you're doing so it doesn't help... thanks for the effort though....

  • @XxjadefamilyxX hit the 'cc' (I'd never seen closed caption before this, so it wasn't obvious!)

  • Thanks for sharing. I crochet but haven't gotten the hang of knitting yet. Thanks for the pointers.

  • WERE BEGINNERS! WHY ARE YOU GOING SO FAST!!!?

  • Thanks! The text is blocking some of the view but by golly I think Ive got it!

  • WATCH MY KNITTING TUTORIALS! I TALK YOU THROUGH THEM :)

  • A Bit stuck..almost there just need patience not my force.

  • I haven't learned how 2 knit yet. I know 2 people who do knit. Aunt Rose (deceased) and Beth (cousin who is still alive).

  • finally a video that actually teaches a beginer!!!! (sp i kno :P )

  • Thanks lady!

  • Wow, thank you! I've cast on... now for the next video! lol

  • Thank you! I could not remember how to do this. Its been a long time. :)

  • thanks! you are the best, i finnally got it! kiss

  • This really helped but I think im doing something wrong...don't know what to do with the tail...ANYONE????

  • The tail gets either used for sewing together seams or gets woven into the wrong side of your knitted item. :)

  • Thank you for this video, itreally helped me, now i've got a chance of passing my course lol thank you

  • I have looked at several books, but your video finally helped me. Thank you so much! Your descriptions, like curtains and upside down A, are very helpful.

  • thank you soo much you are the only person that was able to explain it in detail =)

  • Thankyou so much this is sooo helpful!!!!!!!!

  • dang woman u goin 2fast :(

  • I dont know why but Knitting is like another language to me. I have tried so many times and I just cant get it. At least I wont be one of those old ladies knitting all the time, who knows what ill be doing. haha =]

  • Thank you again, it's been a while since I last cast on, this helped me a lot to remember.

  • Waaaiiiiitttt! How freaking long is the yarn? Where is the shorter end?? I've learnt how to make stitches, but I don't have enough wool, so I have to unravel and start again. Grr!

    I'll return later.

    XA

  • these instructions were awesome!! i looked through so many videos confused and now i can do it!! thank you!!

  • wtf! i typed in booty shake and this shit came up

  • honestly, this videos could improve if you slowed down a bit with your movements and most of all if you started filming from behind your shoulders, since reversing the movements is hard

  • THIS WAS SO VERY HELPFUL! THANK YOU!

  • OH MY GOD! thank you so much!!! ive searched eveerything and all of the cideos are like binding off at the END! and the ones that were for the beginging were too complicated! this is simple and understandable thanks!

  • why does the camera go away as your making the slit knot?? does someone comment back from them

  • Argh! I've been through loads of your vids, and so many of them say "and now I'm going to do this thing we've just reviewed..." WTF? Where can I get these videos in sequence, starting at number 1? You look really good, but I need the beginning and then ordered vids!!!

  • I have no idea what you're talking about, for real.

  • this is only one way to cast on. there are simpler ways, but this way gives you the neatest nicest looking edge. it's worth the tiny extra bit of effort.

  • the way I was taught was soo much less complicated. she makes it seem like a huge friigin task.

  • ohemgizzle not the way i learned

  • you cant fucking see her hands when she is explaining it all

  • thanks a lot,It really helps

  • OMG Thanks for putting this- I was struggling when starting my knitting thanks!

  • didnt get it a waste of time nd i cou.dnt get the A thingy

  • THAAT WAS RETARTEED

    GOSHH

  • not much help, at least this one video, the others were pretty good.

  • i love hannah montana, your really good at knitting, thank you. i have no idea what you said, but that was really sexy, make it snug. :) mmmkkkk.

  • Wonderful and just what I needed!

  • Thought this was a good demo. Too bad a lot of it was cut off at the bottom of the screen.

  • long thumb!

  • All have sinned and come short of the glory of God. Ro. 3:23 That is ALL of us.

  • Because of your blatant ignorance and narrow-minded views of human nature I find you detestable.

  • it took me a while to figure out the slipknot but this video is amazing i'm doin' it! i'm knitting! !!

  • Amazing help thank you =)

  • Genius! Thanks so much, this was way easy to understand

  • Thank you so much. Your video has help me to understand so much better than the instruction books and websites. Thank again :)
