  • work on your timing

  • very nice wished i could have gotten a closer look on your fret work but over all very good !

  • AWWW you didn't play the Bridge at all........

  • is that the version from lynyrd skynyrd thyrty? that was one of the first cds about along with van halen 1984. cool version, and awesome cover

  • @codyjt5150 Thanks!

Uh the first five seconds, the piano part was from The essential lynyrd skynyrd, and the actual cover was from Gold & Platinum, a greatest hits album.

  • Oh YEAH!! I love LS and defo support southern rock! They played this in Glasgow last month when I saw them. Love your arrangement, I've just learned a bit from your vid...well played!!!

  • @anne5surf Sweet! must have been a great concert, i am trying to see them this summer, should be awesome. Always good to talk to a fellow LS fan.

Thanks for the kind words! I'm glad i could help! I've always watched guitar covers on youtube trying to figure out parts i didn't quite understand and stuff like that. It's great to be able to return the favor to someone!!

  • @heavymetal1110 They're my all time favorite band and Ronnie is my fav singer. I listen to them every day. I've been trying learn some of their songs for years they're just awesome. I hope you make it to see them, you won't be disappointed! They played this one, I video'd it on my phone but the sound didn't turn out great.

  • @anne5surf It's gotta be a sin not to like skynyrd, . there's no one else out there like them, such a great blend of many different styles.I hope i do get to see them.

did they play down south jukin or call me the breeze? those are 2 of my fav's that they seem to play at some concerts but not all, so hopefully they'll add those into the setlist when they come by me.

they should do a live dvd taped concert in which they play all obscure stuff, they have so much good stuff they never played live.

  • @heavymetal1110 Yeah they did both of them so there's a good chance of it. My fav's are 'honky tonk night time man', (i think steve gaines is incredible in it) 'i ain't the one' and 'i got the same old blues' :)

  • @anne5surf

@anne5surf @anne5surf Sweet! those are great songs too, i agree steve gaines playing in honky tonk night time man is insane, he allen and gary are all extremely underrated guitarists.

I'd love to see T for texas also, such great guitar work on that song

  • @heavymetal1110 I absolutely love the version of T for Texas they do at the 1976 Knebworth concert. They have the audience in the palm of their hands and Ronnie smiles a lot in it...sweet! I love the riff in 'working for MCA too' :)

  • @anne5surf Yep it is great, some of the greatest guitar work in the history of guitar, yet not too many people know about it.

I love when ronnie says "You" in workin for mca, it's awesome lol.

  • Sounds great ... how do you like your Epiphone?

  • @fender7375

Thanks, it's a great guitar, don't let the name on the headstock put you off, it's an amazing sounding feeling and looking guitar

  • Nice rock n roll!!!

  • @ace69er Thanks! gotta love some skynyrd rock n roll every once in a while....or all the time! lol
