For now Intel is better but is allot more expensive, I am a amd fan but chose for yourself. Buy a amd without the high prices and you get a nice quad-core, or buy a intel and get extreme performance but with higher prices

if u take a look at the 780g (amd) vs intels g35 you can clearly see that amd is the gaming cpu/chipsets and they allways have been.

go look up g35 vs 780g in u tube

Well from all the comparisons I saw (I'll admit I don't have any better or more knowledge about this either)

Phenoms are both great @ gaming and multi-tasking

Core 2s some of em beat the Phenoms by a slight margin in gaming but the Phenoms have better multi-tasking lets say Winrar for example
