  • At the weapon screen it says PBSWOLT :D

  • Looks like Mega Man's been hitting the gym, he looks like a power lifter

  • Those damn Rozner bros... I wonder if they did any other work?

    *Googles results*

Well William Rozner is credited for a game called "D" and another one called "Beethoven's 2nd".

    ...

I've never heard of either of those.

  • How do 2 brothers get rights to make a PC Mega Man game? Man, I wish I was that lucky......

  • Either way... The ending is a joke. Like CDi games.

  • Hey! At least this one had an actual castle! 1st one didn't.

  • Excellent job! :)

You're very lucky to have a fully functional copy of this game. As I've posted before, I owned this back in the day brand new, and my copy was so glitchy you couldn't even fight the bosses. It's a pity though, as this game seems a lot better than the first Mega Man on the PC.

Thank you so much for the videos! You just filled in a missing piece of my childhood! :)

  • 5:31 epic fail

  • @TheWolfgabe LMAO

  • BUT WILL IT LAST !!!

  • "Dr. WILEY" epic fail

  • Megaman, I told you to stop consuming Energy...

  • About the Wily battle... "I am more than a robot! Die Wily!" :P

  • What is THIS shit.....

  • Ugh, I remember I played this and the first DOS 'game' (if it can be called that). The level design in this one was truly horrifying to the point of total boredom.

  • Wily didn't surrender, he EXPLODED!

  • im in love with the music in this game!!

  • Man this game is like an ACID TRIP like Wily's Final Battle with pool of ACID!

  • Wily: Damn I should not have tried to beat him while chilling in my Jacuzzi.

Really? Did wily want to destroy the planet? What would have happened with him!!!!

(the lack of question mark at the end is a reference)

  • they call this a castle? it should be called a dungeon

  • @unknownono or i couldve called it a toxic dungeon

  • Two interesting things about this stage compared to other Mega Man Games' Wily stages:

-You fight all of the robot masters scattered across the entire stage, rather than just in a capsule room.

-Wily DOES NOT use the appearing/disappearing UFO trick like he does in practically every other game.

  • @RABBIDGamfan true .. wasn't the "scattered" trick also used in mega man 1 + x1? (i remember that x2 and on used the capsule group just like 2+ in nes series)

  • yeah, they did that in the original MM1. you fought the robot masters throughout the stage. Then, in MM2, they invented the teleporter room or whatever you wanna call it.

  • @RABBIDGamfan Bosses were scatteed in MM10's first wily stage

And The Capsule Only Appears from MM4 onwards

  • ...Is Bitman or Blademan's weapon represented by an "L" on the pause menu? The hell? =/

  • @Gomess I wanna say Blademan at the top of my head, but I don't remember for certain.

  • ... See, game designers, this is why you should make sure the boss' names start with different letters! =p

  • Yeah, like you´re ever gonna cross the platform in the final battle. Thank you for uploading these!

  • @frostare lol no problem. i actually had the original disks for both this and mm1. if i can find them in a garage ill upload pictures... if anyone cares. (i think the first one was those huge LITERALLY floppy disks). hope you enjoyed, while it was a trip down memory lane, it wasn't the same beautiful memories i had from the NES games lol

  • the hardhats look stoned and it scares me

  • Many people hated this game, but honestly, this game was good for its time. It got bad reviews but only because it was reviewed by people who are used to playing modern games.

for an MS-DOS game this was actually very decent.

  • What a lame final boss; it was just Wily playing in nuclear waste while inanimate carbon rods shot back and forth.

    IN ROD WE TRUST indeed.

  • Way to be lazy by cutting and pasting the ending from the first game. ...If you could call that an ending.

But on the plus side, at least Wily managed to invest in a decent castle.

  • What a fucking GODLIKE TROLL of a level.

I said to myself I was going to beat this.

The game trolled me no less than 50 times, even on the final boss battle!!

A shot made me fall back and I touched whatever that green thing is and I instantly died!

Level design is awful, too =/

Also, what can be the final machine made out of? I mean, it can submerge on the acid Mega Man can't even touch with his toes, yet it is weak to WATER?!?!

  • this game look really weird and hard... you did a good job to finish this keep up the good work!

  • thank you. i thought about doing a "perfect run" of both DOS games, but i had a HELL of a time just doing these without dying. to put into prespective, the controls are as follows:

    J = Jump

    Space= shoot

    arrows (duh)= move

  • Wily's ultimate machine in this game is a tub full of mountain dew that throws pickles at you.

  • LMFAO

  • Someone should re-make these games with proper NES graphics and some 8-bit music to kick along with it.

Sad part is, I actually own these games, but my PCs are too powerful to run them properly. LOL...

  • yeah, some older dos games weren't programmed for the fact that someday pc's would be 3000mhz, and they just go nuts. if you really want to play them (for whatever reason..) just download DOSbox. thats how i recorded these lol. basically its a dos emulator

  • Somebody from a Mega Man wiki actually is making both games.

  • Jesus. That uh...boomerang thingy is quite powerful. Props man. I could never finish this game even if I wanted to.

  • lol yeah.

  • I think the programmers were so lazy that they didn't make it so the boss would be temporarily invincible like most mega man games, and the attack I used on oil man had 3 things that flew out at once, so at that range it was just.... DEAD lol

  • Huh, only 2 guys worked on this?

Also, Stephen Rozner should go to hell.

  • Cool, Wily swiming in the pool of acid. He is much more though then Megaman xD

  • the shark boomerang is a pretty epic weapon

  • Dr.WILEY!? ROTFL!

  • y does oil man respond to shark? it shuld be fire

  • it appears for me. and who the hell marked you for spam? lol

  • oh wait, it works...i guess some spore-fucker got jealous of my comment and marked it...though really, how the hell should i know? lol

  • The music is sick!

  • lol they could have at least made a different ending

    still, quite nice

did better justice to MegaMan than the first DOS game

  • My main regret about this video, I got a perfect run except I couldn't dodge Bitman (the first guy I fight)'s falling blocks. I felt like such a fool, but it was such a bitch getting the whole castle in one run I let it slide. I hope you guys forgive me. If I ever do a "perfect" MM1 and MM3 Dos run, I'll let you know, but I doubt I'm that skilled :/

  • I wouldnt worry about it....the fact that you beat it is crazy enough...that would have taken alot of patience.

  • Wow. Capcom sure did lose some imagination when it came to making 6 robot masters for the PC version. Nice job, by the way.

  • Thanks. I imagine they just gave the rights to some PC company (hi-tech creations or something), and not the original creators were involved. This is a US only version I think, although as old as the original NES versions roughly. JP and UK weren't missing much, but they are a part of my child hood so I had to upload :) lol

  • Thanks for saving me hours of bloody useless play :D

Dude, you have my respect - I mean, you beat MM3PC!! That's something you don't see everyday!

  • LMFAO thank you. I used to beat it a lot when I was a kid (we were too poor for an NES until a bout a year or two before the SNES came out) so it was just a mater of getting used to it and then recording.

  • Wow...They saved the SAME screen from the first game's ending and put it in this game, never the least great videos!

  • Hahaha, thank you. Yeah... the DOS versions were "lol" but they have a special place in my childhood.

  • It was either 'lol' :'(

  • I mean, it was either 'lol' or :'(

    ...lol
