What a delight to watch the Tom & Cherry show... and although it was over-the-top silly, it also was a great sales pitch, as my wife & I are waiting for your delicious Sulawesi to re-appear this year, she's thinking of having me order some of this fabled NG coffee too when you get it in... Maybe we'll get some of those really complex "pre-chewed-by-Tom" beans! :-)
Fun, but I'm so ignorant I don't know what's bs and what's not. Just know that Sweetmaria's makes my day each morning. Thanks for running a Great business.
@alexanderruas Let me re-phrase, its a parody of a lot of "coffee origin" videos, including my own, seriously. we all get a little too dramatic some times.
the beginning sounded like "homage" to Techniworm videos (the one where they search for the coffee in Rwanda). the thing is that until tom started to "slide" in the mud on the road, I was confused. Then I got it ... I know I am slow, but at least I am aware of that ;)))))
@benkaminsky the funniest thing is that sailors is a real term for floaters - found it in a 1930's USDA cupping spec. Isn;t that funny. sailors and quakers.
a friend just brought me back some parchment coffee from Peru...now i just have to figure out how to presses it. i hope that it's clean and transparent.
Awesome to see the passion Tom has. It speaks volumes for the quality of the coffees Sweet Marias offers. Love it!
