I am surprised that this guy was not charged with Neglectful homocide. I know my guns were a huge issue in my divorce but my ex didnt seem to realize that I loved my kids too in that I kept my guns secured and out of sight. No matter if they were found, they had trigger locks on them and the key with me at all times. I do know the feeling of being literally screwed in the court room though. I won't elaborate but it sure took 5 balilffs well over a minute to take this ex Marine down.

I can say I wouldn't have any ill feelings towards him for defending himself against the jack booted propaganda agents. However, there are probably unusual circumstances as to why the judge implies he needs to secure his weapons, there is no such law. However, is would be negligence / endangering on his part if he believed his child would have done it accidentally.

@PeteTheRock2002 Contempt maybe.. endangerment, his child did it on purpose not accidentally, and you don't know if the child was trained to handle a firearms letting him feel that it was safer to leave the weapons accessible. Resisting arrest w/v I would agree they can add that, but I would argue he was just defending himself. Intimidation, the judge and bailiff is trying to intimidate and handle him like a slave or livestock; he wasn't in the right, but it's not his fault stuff happens
