Keep in mind, pipe tobacco and eastern tobaccos such as Shisha and Dokha, are not processed as heavily as most cigarette-tobacco. And most of them lack the artificial and poisonous additives found in cigarettes.

There's much less danger in these than in cigarettes.

Latakia is pretty much a love/hate tobacco. Some people are besotted with it, other can't stand it.

Captan Black is an OTC blend (over the counter / drugstore). Pay extra and get yourself a decent tobacco.

My favourite just now is Samuel Gawith's Full Virginia Flake. Pure quality VA flake, sweet taste, complex taste. Or if you are looking for something more cigarish with a bigger kick try Peterson's Irish Flake - Virginia and Kentucky leaf mix. It's a bit peppery and kicks!

@5tonyvvvv First, don't be a dick. Second, don't be retarded. Any smoke is bad for you and can increase risk of cancer (campfires, etc.) and with pipes you don't inhale, so that cuts out lung cancer and lowers overall risk. Studies show pipe smokers live longer on average than non-smokers :D

@STEFAZON500 That is why it is best to grow it in the most organic and pure soil as possible. Though vaporizing, edibles, or tinctures are the safest ways to consume cannabis. Smoking anything will increase you chances of getting cancer but it all depends on what is sticking to your lungs.

Also when you go to a shop and buy a non tobacco pipe without a built in screen they usually give you one. If you go and buy a tobacco pipe they won't give you a screen. Thats why I use the word recommended because it doesn't show a 100% certainty.

They sell pipe sweetener in the stores. You can also use any cheap booze just run a pipe cleaner thru the stem using the booze or sweetener.

Why?- stale pipe tobacco and saliva build up in the walls of the stem creating a sour taste after a while.
