the 600 cc class is no longer a "beginner bike" mind you. They are fast and due to the peakier hp curve, i think they are a bit more fun to ride than a literbike. I dont like punching a bike in 2nd gear and having the rear tire break loose like in my 954rr. The r6 is better balanced as well. that being said, any bozo can go out an buy a bike. A 10 year old car made for the street and running 130+ in the 1/4 mile is impressive.... AT ANY PRICE!

As an R6 owner, race an R6 from a standstill. A 600 will start to slow on accel around 140 while your car can go faster. Starting on the highway at 80 and going up to prob 130 and back down is not a huge feat.
