@smitto21 well.... not entirely... especially if you'd take into consideration that the JJ Abrams' TOS has a version of LCARS... and even ST:Enterprise chronologically had a similar system... predating both TOS's.... even though it wasn't called "LCARS" per se...

And "LCARS" doesn't necessarily mean "touch screen interface", and just that one component all by itself... more precisely, it's their operating system as a whole.

@mrbeasley82 You realize that was a german car? They don't have "old muscle" cars there. At least, not in the way Americans understand the term. Sports cars might not be able to handle such a conversion. this clearly required a vehicle with a large built-in LCD display and a computer operating system, such as the Senator clearly has.

I will say that it's still a sick mod and wish I could have something like that for my '05 Mustang. Problem is that I'm a fan of both Star Trek and Night Rider, so my customization would be very odd (and a bit out of my price range).

@ZTFreedom You can pick up a car controller from Chinavasion for about $40 (Including shipping), throw in a mini PC or something similar at about £150. A bit of programming knowledge and a Microcontroller board (£30-£200 Depending if you can do it yourself, or have to get some help) and then a few plastics cutting tools..

£500 at most. :) If you need any advice, PM me, I have worked on these things (Well.. Similar) before.
