I thought Jay "Faceshot" represented himself well in the film but Me-Ghan was an embarassment. Her mouth, her skills, her sisters, her mother and that emotional superiority crap...uugh! Then at the end of the film to see that Jay was still a jg and she was a lt, WTF. Any wonder they are on a record pace for relieving C.O.'s this year. I am not knocking the sailors and the job their doing. Maybe leadership has lost it's way.
unless you have spent four years or more on an aircraft carrier like I have you wouldn't have any idea of how dangerous a carrier landing is. after all someone has to be the first, she won't be the last
@saratoga682 I was land-based the entire 4 years I was active navy. During that time, I was on the FCLP team, and I can 100% agree that even in a controlled environment, those carrier landings (even simulated) are scary indeed, whether landing or watching from the pickle.
@saratoga682 ABE have the most dangerous job of hooking that bird (Jet) to the cat(catapult). while your hookin the bird up you can feel the air moving past you into the intake of that jet, whether its a Hornet, Prowler, or Hawkeye. the Hawkeyes scared me most being so close to those props(propellers). but standing back by the gear(arresting gear cables) while that bird lands is just as dangerous too for an ABE. if that cable snaps they're the first to get hit by that cable.
@dom37262 It's all pretty damn sketchy, but what a rush when you feel that intake pulling at you, especially when pulling the nose gear pin on the 14! Nothing like it in the world. Hawkeyes are pretty scary too. You're pretty close to those props pulling the huffer (or electrical? I forget) off.
I have to say that many younger people today often swear unnecessarily but when you are launched off the deck of a carrier I am more than happy to give a pass. Furthermore, I want my pilots and defenders of my freedom to be able to swear loud and clear and be tough as nails.
@edadan2009 I don't remember the, "Thou shalt not swear." Line in bible school, but maybe I was fed up with all the holier-than-thou people that make this world a significantly more annoying and repressed place.
This video is full of immature children. If you were to be taking off in a 10 meter distance with only the help of a carrier catault, You'd be worried, excited and such.
@NickEspo1000 She's excited, not scared. If you wanted to be a fighter pilot, trained for a very long time, and finally got to do a carrier launch, most folks would probably be as excited, especially given how quickly they accelerate.
Anyway that is not the point at all, because what really matters man is how you feel about all this, try not to be so hard, take it easier, in the end it make bad for yourself, because most of the time people will try to get fun of your madness, they will have a good time on you, and you will suffer with your own irritation. I dont want to impose this to you, I don't even need to tell you this, but at this point I hope this discution bring something good at the end. Wish you the best.
Their mistakes result in DST or worse: the birth of a new life which they can't afford to educate properly or pay basic needs. Even if we rewind back to Youtube I posted a video about UFO which I filmed myself and there is some people that make jokes with that, I really don't care, this videos are not for them anyway. But if I would get mad between a bad joke or someone making ridiculous comment or saying I am a faker, I would choose to get mad with the second.
I don't give a damn about this (but if I did, I won't offend anyone). I think there is so much more to really really get pissed off that this kind of thing just don't affect me. For example I work with teenager that doesn't have sexual orientation and they keep messing with their lives when they get pregnant, THAT pisses me off a lot, because you are telling them how important it is to protect themselves, how to use the resources available but they just don't care, they keep doing unprotected
No but English is not my native language so I feel ok with your ridiculous comentary, anyway it appear you had failed big time in the common sense class (which we get on life not in school) that class would tell you that YouTube do not belong only to people who write in english but world wide, so it is not big deal if someone fail to write something wrong, even because I am very sure you also makes your own mistakes when you what to write something fast. So don't be a smart ass,pls
@felcas First off, there are a lot of people (mainly teenagers) on Youtube that use a stupid, tired meme of "did he/she died?" and think it's supposed to be funny. It's annoying. Statistically, most people that watch an F-14 video are American.
Secondly, if you're watching the video, why are you in such a hurry to post? A; you can pause, B; you can pull it back, C; you could wait until the end of the video to comment, D; you could make the comment and still only miss 5-7 seconds of the video.
I just can't belive how much energy you are putting into this !!!!! Your argument continue to be ridiculous! From were did you get this statistic? Is there a study? After all I don't really care for your statistics! If you don't like stupi comment, don't post video or don't let people make comments, it is simple as that, this is a public space and I am FREE to make any comments with exception to offend anyone, which I didn't, in fact I thought the video was awesome!
And you also need to learn that humor sense is diferent from person to person, deal with that or again don't let people comment! Or moderate it! Or don't upload anything at all, youtube give you plenty of tools to you, use them or don't complain!
@felcas I'm exercising my First Amendment rights. If you don't like it, I'm sure I'll get over it. I'm not going to censor something without good reason. The problem with senses of humor is that things like "did she [past tense verb]?" isn't even funny. It might have been 3 years ago, but it's done. Yet it seems people across the internet have yet to get that memo.
Hooo man, grow up!!! you say you are not going to sensor anything but what is worst then being offensive with someone that just have a bad sense of humor (in your opinion)! And then you talk about shitty amendment rights, again you are in the world wide enviroment not in your backyard USA. In my country your first answer to my post would give me the chance to sue, not the case in the web so don't come here talking about US laws, they do not apply here, live with that.
And by the way I understood completely your problem with my sense of humor, I am not tring to justify it or not, you are free to find my sense of humor bad and I really don't care, what I care is for the lack of politeness you had answering me the first time. There is no law that obligate you to be polite in the internet, but not being polite, well educated, place you bellow me someone that just have a bad taste for humor which I can't stress is just your opinion and nothing more.
@felcas If you heard (or saw) the same bad joke every time you went to a location or website, after a year or more, would you not get tired of it as well?
never rest F-14. but if you do... R.I.P.
