The FAB Especially for Girls ice lolly must have been the most dumb marketing campaign ever. No self respecting boy in 1966 would be seen dead eating one (look at the poof with a girlie ice lolly) why Lyons Maid deliberately went about excluding 50% of their market is beyond me.
I like how they got the original actors for these ads. I remember the cereal thing where you send off tokens to get a vehicle. My parents sent off some tokens, and I never got my toy!
Nice little compilation. I have all of them on the various old commercially available videos tapes and later DVDs but the third FIREBALL one is one I have never seen so great stuff!!
It was a great time to be a kid in those days - Im glad to have been there :-)
