You make no good cross examination here, Saddam was a dictator that personally violated many of UN mandates and resolutions. Israel and arab nations are not on good terms, there are atrocities on both sides, the only difference is that Israel's actions are of course, 100% accounted to themselves, the arab world is generally not personally in ths conflict, but with groups like Hamas acting against Israel in a very dirty guerilla fasion, this is a true war, bad things happen in war.

Donald Rumsfeld has the very real possibility of being arrested if he leaves the borders of the US. I think the Hague can only hear a dispute when it's been requested by one or more of the member states--it can't deal with a dispute of its own motion. It's just not legal or permitted under the UN statue to investigate and rule just because it feels like it on the crimes of sovereign countries or their leaders. A lot of countries have a major beef with Bush & Co. Wait, watch & listen
