Why Silent Hill was removed from the PSN!

On mine that I downloaded from PSN, it just glitched out after the boss fight with Cybil. All it showed was Harry's legs and the textures were gone. They were just green. Also, the item menu glitched out, the subtitles glitched, and the flashlight barely worked. I'd not experienced any problems until then.

I actually played the orginal like a year ago (disc verision) and I never really had that problem, maybe it was because I never used or found the rifle?

@warwick2155 Yes, this happened to me once while playing the PS1 disc version of the game on the PS3. It was one of the original 60 GB Ps3's too. The one that's supposed to have the PS2 hardware built into it. yet this still happened...

My friend bought this game on PSN a few months ago, and it seems pretty well cleaned up, but the annoying blaring that happens when you shoot the pistol STILL happens during the fight with the final boss. And this is totally random, but I perked up when I heard the PS3 trophy sound at the end of your video lol, I always get excited when I get another trophy :P

buy a $10 card for mgs then get a $20 for crash 1+3 because you will have spare money. Get Resident evil 2 or 3 because they are really good

If you buy MGS U can only get 1 crash game. If you get SH you get 2 crash games with it. I would recommend getting all 3 crash games or SH because MGS is just ok

I encountered no audio or graphical glitches during my playthrough of Silent Hill which I downloaded from the PS3 Store.

Aside from that, Silent Hill IS getting re-released on PSN in Q4 '09, as stated by Konami.

Lastly, the reason they took it down was because of an error in pricing, not anything to do with how the game runs.

I'm sorry but I cannot accept this video as a response when it is attacking the awesome PS3 with misinformation.

That's as maybe, but you really should remake the video because it's a fact you're having glitches there, but the part about the reason behind them removing the game was due to glitches AND the part about it not coming back to PSN is all wrong!

WOW, PS3's dogy simulation??? WTF, there is so many other PSone games and they are working perfectly and none of them have glitches or bugs. Does anyone had problems with Final Fantasy from PS Store or Syphon Filter or any other PSone game expect Silent Hill? Its a bad conversion, that's why everyone have problems with this game, even me. Don't be coming out and telling that this is PS3's fault. Game was badly converted and that's it.
