I just realized, songs like this are so negative and dangerous. This is all about low self esteem and being dependent on another to feel like you matter. That's very unhealthy. Babyface has a higher voice then Tony does. You are right that Babyface is a musical genius. One day he just stop talking/texting/calling me. It was always like that with him tho. I was in school and he was 300 miles away. It just didn't work out, i guess. I just realized, songs like this are so negative and dangerous. This is all about low self esteem and being dependent on another to feel like you matter. That's very unhealthy. This kind of thinking can provoke suicide or other rash behavior. I love Babyface's writing, but songs like this (not just his, but all), I realized, are not healthy to those that aren't mentally strong or can't move on.

Babyface has a higher voice then Tony does. You are right that Babyface is a musical genius. One day he just stop talking/texting/calling me. It was always like that with him tho. I was in school and he was 300 miles away. It just didn't work out, i guess. Idk, i guess he didn't want to be with me anymore. :( Its been 2 years since that day and I still miss him a lot. I think about him still and what he's doing or who he's with. Everytime my aunt hears this song, she bursts into tears. She was married to the sweetest man for 12 years, got a divorce over something petty, & married someone else, but they still loved each other. Her & their kids takled to him twice a week & visited him once a month if that. Then the worst thing happened, he got sick & died of a surgery gone wrong. He was only 39, & He never got to see me or his son walk across the stage.. 3 days later. I miss him sooo much! :'(
