I always hated sailing at night. That ghost ship scares me half to death so everytime I beat Dragon Roost, I would sail to Windfall to get the song and playit a couple of times to avoid ever seeing the ghost ship. But of course, I had to see it later in the game...

People, just so you know! (Timeline people get pencils and paper) After OoT, the timeline splits. One is The WW timeline, and the TP timeline. In the WW timeline, Hyrule gets flooded. All of the islands were once mountains, which explains why there is the most random things in the middle of the sea.

There's a rather good explanation of the Great Sea somewhere on zeldauniverse, I believe, that disregards the divided timeline theory. Personally, I subscribe to the divided timeline theory, but not to the placement of the other games it usually includes. Just FYI, y'know. We're all just waiting for SS to come out and see where that fits in, right now, though.
