i love red dwarf, and dannys story about growing up in a kinda rough neighborhood an a less tolerant era made me realize, yeah im more or less alone in my struggles fir life, but you know what ! i'm doing good, and not just giving up or giving in, im providing for my family and gf, and im doing fine, thanks red dwarf posse :)

I have to say, I like this format better than the TV version, especially the theme tune, much nicer and gentler, but I guess the "creative" people at Dave wanted something else... :)

And I also have to say, I preferred Scrapheap Challenge with you Rob, I love Mr. Strawbridge, have chatted with his wife via a forum related to INEBG, but, his show's format, nah, I like the original better... :(

My 18 year old son came across this site yesterday and advised me to look it up...a little Valentines Day adventure...Needless to say I love it ! It can be easy to forget that some of our favorite "Characters" are people :) (Gotta love that Cat and Robot !!!) Ordinary every day people that are just as interesting as friends having a conversation as they are characters on screen...Thanks for the ride Boys !

I love the informal feel to Carpool. SO much better than most of the talk shows on TV where everything feels so damn forced. This feels like driving around with my mates, laughing and reminiscing. The inherent Red Dwarf connection just makes it even better.

Could do with a bit more advertising or awareness. Great seeing you and your great guests in the raw and i know its not relavant to your show but always a pleasure seeing the RD crew.

You are right, Carpool needs all the publicity it can get, but the shows originally went out on iTunes where the show was in the top ten video podcasts for over a year, with over 4 million downloads, so there is a substantial audience. I've recorded over 100 shows now, Danny's was one of the very early ones. A whole new load will start appearing on Jan 7th

@carpoolUK Great to see you retort your comments from viewers. I will admit, most of my viewing is now through youtube and OD channels online, Proving to be a bit of a problem for Tv shows on the box. I suppose this day and age where TV is slowly being replaced by the internet, going through iTunes was a good move. Also why i missed it, i have only been using itunes since the revolutionary iPhone 3 months ago, but iTunes is a garentied trend and many more will follow. Keep up the good work.

@jamesfromwimbledon Thank you for that advice although I'm not sure I agree with you. Carpool was never meant to be an interview as such, more the recording of a conversation. Danny and I have known each other for many years so you might be right, I may have been too relaxed in his company, this was also one of the very first shows I recorded so hopefully I've improved.

I hope that there will be some more Red Dwarf one day, I think if it comes back

for another 6 episode series then I think a return to the format of Series 6 would

be good, basically the four of you trapped on Star Bug again, there are so many

more stories to tell & ideas which could be explored, other than that a stage show

could also be very good, I know Craig & Chris have been keen on this in the past.

@MrWeekendoff I have sorted it out. A new series of Carpool starts on Dave in the UK on November 3rd, 20 new passengers, all of which will be released in their full length form on the internet at a later date. They will be on YouTube, llewtube, carpool.tv and iTunes.
