woow, volgens mij heb ik deze merrie eerder gezien.

stond ze een aantal jaren geleden te koop op marktplaats met een foto van haar hoofd (wat ook in het filmpje te zien is als beginplaatje?)

ik weet dat ik toen helemaal weg was van haar, en ze is zo opvallend dat ik haar direct herken! echt een paard wat ik niet snel zou vergeten.

Ik heb haar in de zomer van 2005 gekocht. Kan zijn dat je die advertentie hebt gezien, beginplaatje was toen idd 1 van de foto's die ze gebruikten :) Was er ook gelijk weg van :D

Zelf heb ik haar, wegens tijdsgebrek, ook heel even te koop gehad via Kapaza, zo'n 4 jaar geleden. Maar al snel had ik door dat ik er te veel spijt van zou hebben, dus heb ik het niet gedaan. En daar ben ik blij om, kan haar niet meer missen!

She's got one blue eye. I don't think it was meant to breed her like that, it just happened, something in the genes I guess.

No we don't compete in anything at the moment. We're from Belgium, so I think the chance is small that it was us ;)

I so wish to have a neat horse. I heard it's a lot of money for the vet bills, saddles, groom supplies, black smith for their shoes and to board them. I do lessons and once a week. One day I might have a chance to own a horse.. :-) Don't let you hopes go down and look forward and save up.

me and my friend are trying to get money to buy a horse and hopfully a friend will let us borrow their field( hopefully!!!) we're not sure how to get the money and we thought about getting part time jobs and making and selling stuff, does anyone have any ideas?

Nobody in my family is into horses, but of course I am. I bought my own horse 4 years ago, have not regretted it for a second! It's a lot of hard work and quite expensive too, but if you really want something, you can make it work! Good luck with accomplishing your dream!

thats like my mums old horse, it was strawberry roan and half arab a really good stud horse got into the mare beside its feild so the horse was half nag half beautiful arabian lol

The eyes are a bit creepy, but then again I've always had issue with wall eyed horses.

Other than her eyes, I think you are very lucky to have such a nice horse.

how tall is she and how is her disposition? i want to breed my arabian mare to a paint/QH cross but I want some height and a sensible, level-headed disposition. i want to know if thats possible with an Arab cross haha

I think she measures about 1m60. Her dam was about 1m65 and her sire 1m55. I think much depends on how tall your mare is and how tall the stallion is.

What exactly do you mean by 'her disposition'? If you mean her temperament, she is very 'cool' in the head. She's forward, but very easy to handle! Knows when to 'show off' but also when to behave. She likes to work and learns quickly. She's just lovely, really!

Hello there,

Thx for taking a look at my video!

The sire of my mare carries 90,62% Arabian blood. So he is indeed no pure bred. There are no spotted pure bred arabians with tobiano markings. But there are spotted purebred arabians with sabino markings who almost look like a pinto horse, it's all about genetics, very difficult tho.

My mare is still black and white, it just doesn't show in every picture. Much depends on how the sun stands and how the light is and stuff...
