The original was by Kasey Cisyk from the movie "you light up my life" 1978 and her version was the best but was never released until after Debbie Boone version had dropped off the charts. Whitney Houstons' version has to much ad-lib gospel stuff and does the song harm. The best Version is by Kasey Cisyk and then Leann Rhimes.
