I don't know why we Iranians are always trying to make angels and demons out of people.
Each of us believes that Mosadegh, Khomeini, and Shah was either a god-sent angle or a satanic demon.
Mosadegh tried his best. But we all know that he believed in a socialist style economy.
Let me remind you that socialism basically means that no-one should be rich (that means, everyone should be poor). Thus, all industries end up being controlled by the government.
Thanks for your polite language that is very much different with neo-Pahlavi lover's language. Your facts my friend is on many ways wrong. First Mossadegh didn't believe in socialism, he was supporter of liberalism in politics and economy. Second, even your understanding of socialism is wrong. If you think that many Western European socialists that running their countries for most of the time since WWII, made their countrymen poor, then I have nothing to say to you.
Look, don't get me wrong. Mosadegh was an awesome politician. He took the Brits to the Hague and beet them. And for that he deserves much credit.
He was a social liberal however.
All I'm saying is that we shouldn't make an angel out of him, because he might have screwed up if he was in power longer.
What we do know is that the Shah was in power longer and he did screw up -- hell, Tehran didn't even have a sewage system after more than half a century of Pahlavi rule.

My friend, I never made an angle out of Mossadegh, he was a human and could made mistake like any other human, but having this assumption that if he served longer he would screwed up is unacceptable. The fact is he did not serve longer and he did not screw up. If, if, if, if? If my uncle was a female, then he would be my aunt, but the fact is he is not a female and he is not my aunt.

Bachehjan, rosha hichvaght Mossadegho bekhatere mokhalefatash ba dadane emtiaz nafte shomal beh roosha nabakhshidand va hamisheh dar aomoore homakatye Dr. Mossadegh karshekany kardand. Hata talahaye Iran ra beh hokomate Mossadegh nadadand, vali beh hokomate khaene Shah/Zahedi dadand.
