dude i have a big bear and it has some low gears, its made for muddin! It still has its stock tires on it and it goes through anything. i never get stuck.

bitch please hondas are alright but i got a yamaha big bear 400 and a rubicon 500 and my yamaha kicks its ass at everything and my big bear is year 04 and my honda is 07 and the rubicon has 2" lift kit longer anxels but they have factory tires and all my big bear has is mud bugs and factory rims so idk......
is the big bear cut off cause if it is only liquid cooled you should turn it off while idleing or until U move it out with assisting to keep engine temps down ,it keeps your oil longer lasting & if it the original big bear 400 4x4 like a 05' type they are the best SRA mudding quad cause of the way it's geared and high shaft ground clearance although IRS have higher ground clearances than a SRA withcvt's 2 they are'nt a real tranny like older yamahas/and honda to this day they are seale dmore
