unlucky, in anglia we get good traction all the time, 90 hauled passenger sets, 90 hauled freight, double and single (86501) 86 freight and of course the 66s on freight which are not top class but the gm motors sound gd in my opinion.
I don't get how this is unlucky to those on the WCML? The only thing the WCML doesn't have of which you listed is regular 90s on passenger service. The WCML gets more freight, which includes 66s, 86s, 90s, 56s...
Because They dont have any AC pioneers on the WCML anymore like 86's,87's,90's something that were so regular on the WCML. But I see where your coming from.
I meant that they are unlukcy in Scotland as the majority of this traction originates from either Felixstowe or Tilbury which link onto the GEML and branch off at various points on the WCML (daventry, birmingham, crewe etc.) so only a select few make it to scotland like the 4S88 which is normally hauled by a 90 up the WCML
