Eiko is my second favorite character in the game (My number 1 being Vivi). She's got such an attitude it makes her absolutely adorable. Quite a mouth for a six year old. And I prefered her White Magic over Dagger. She's better in that sense. And I don't use summons really,

I know in Japanese The 'Ai' makes the long I sound. And I'm pretty sure "Ei" makes the long E sound, thus her name is prounounced "Eeko" But *shrug* Maybe the "ei" in her name was a mistranslation of the "Ai"

Japanese is very easy to get used to pronounciation. 'e' is always pronounced 'like the e in echo and 'i' is always pronounced like the 'ee' in feel. So it's be similar to eheekoh. But I digress, not the place. Let HCBailly pronounce it how he likes, and lets move on.

Vivi's from a different line (well, is it a line when it's just him? eh.) of production, so his lifespan could be a bit more varied. I'd call him about Eiko's age, since that's what he says.

Also, "Eye-ko' is a much better pronunciation, as you can make reference to "Iko Iko," and can thus work in musical numbers. Musical reference tops all else.

I used to pronounce her name as 'eye-koh' too, till I realized that it's 'ay-koh' (as in May). Not that it matters that much, just saying...

Also, using a summon with Eiko the first time gives you some extra dialog between Zidane and Dagger. Would be nice to actually show that before you reach 'Sanctuary'.

Summoners are a different race, which explains an earlier comment made by HC about there not being any real humans in the party (Monkey, Black Mage, Quina and Summoner). I'm avoiding any real details cause of spoilers...
