  • DUDE! WHAT THE FUCK! Thats crazy as hell. I can BARELY do 1 with my own bodyweight. (im probably 220-230 at 6 1). Do you think parallel grip pull ups or chin ups will help me improve? I currently do 2 sets of seated cable rows with 195 for 4-6 reps and 2 sets of lat pulldowns with 195 pounds for 4-6 reps. In addition, i do 3 sets of parallel grip pull ups for about 4 reps but im not progressing as fast as id like. Thanks in advance! You are strong as balls!

    any form of pull-ups or chin-ups will help you improve. cable rows are great but won't do much for pull-ups; the same for lat pulldowns. Try only doing different grips of body weight pull-ups.

    If you are not progressing try and change your routine and grip, a lot of people do negatives after there workout.

    Also after doing full ROM strict ones cheat and try and get two more in on your last 2 sets.

  • o yeah I noticed it said your 203 pounds no problem mate....can I ask how tall are you?...as I'm 210 pounds and 6,3...I'm fairly well built but you look alot bigger than I do? so maybe because you're shorter you'll look naturally more bulky?

  • no sure if 3 sets would be enough I started at 5 sets of 5 3 times a week.

  • Thanks man, I'm gonna try that. Would you reccomend the same thing for dips? My best set of 5 is 175lbs bw + 55 lbs

  • absalutely amazing i want to be able to rock out a set at bw + 100. I can only do a few with +50 lbs right now thoug.

  • Damn man, this is by far the best weighted pullup video I've ever seen! Good work! I can only lift myself up about halfway with an extra 50lbs on my 135lb frame...and Im 5'2" tall.

  • i saw the video where u did the 200 lb pull up but since chin ups are easier u should see how many chin ups u can do with the 200 lb on you and u can probably do more weight even

  • Surprisingly not Chins are harder for me then pull-ups since I only do pull-ups weighted.

  • what is your record for a weighted pull up? and to bredone, 2 finger chin up legs in front is easy. If I can make a video I will post it.

  • Good God Mr Extremistpullup...my eyes SAW you DO that weighted pullup with 165lbs...like my jaw dropped when you actually lifted your weight AND those huge metal plates like it was no big deal! DAYUM...you are a ROCK of muscle. Those LEGS are STUD muscle dude! WOW!
