@Metallilicious same. It always reminded me of cookoo's nest when chief tells Jack Nicholson that he is a mountain. If you haven't seen it it's a beautiful film. I bet Dave likes it.
The first three Foo Fighters albums were just pure amazing. One by One wasn't that good, and In Your Honor and ESPG were good. I can't wait for their new one next year. Grohl said it's going to be their heaviest album yet. :)
bought this album the day it came out and havnt stoped yet. one of the best ever put together, of all time. this changed the way i listend to and played music. dave grohl comes up with some amazing riffs in drop D.
i think echos silence paitence and grace was their best album :) But there all pretty good seeing as foo fighters are like the best band to grace this planet

echoes silence patience and grace try to demonstrate how fucked up is dave when he don't take seriously the recording of an album, just come back to the basics, dave try to emulate david gilmour but foo fighters is not pink floyd wait another 3 years maybe he tries something interesting like in your honor
totally agree...i think that even one by one which is the worst album by dave is really interesting but the echoes' thing is really horrible, that is not foo fighters, that is dave making some mix between genesis and pink floyd
@whiteboywithguitar that's one of the bad things about being a true big hit machine: having underrated tracks. I mean, Dave Grohl has written a lot of unbelievable songs...
I remember when I was little I always thought Grohl said i'm a mountain and I was like well hey thats dave grohl he can be whatever the fuck he wants

Maybe Foo Fighters never created a new music style like The Beatles or Nirvana.
Maybe there aren't fucking 3 minutes guitar solos in their songs like Guns n Roses or Led Zeppelin.
Maybe Dave Grohl doesn't sing like John Lennon.
Maybe they didn't sell thousand billion CDs like AC/DC or Pink Floyd.
But this is the fucking best rock band ever.

Sounds a lot like The Darkness. Especially the guitar riff. Very 70's. Anyone agree?
